“I have experienced repeated disappointment in my communications with the SD79 and the board of trustees around the blatant and disrespectful closure of QMBNS. They have repeatedly publicized that they lead with respect and inclusive actions. This has NOT been my experience. The lack of consultation, the force transfer of our teachers, the timeline delivered (giving us 12 days to decide where to register our children) the dismantling of the school and many imperative needed aspects before this year is even out.... I am continually shocked and saddened by the actions of the SD around this closed meeting decision, and I know there are many that feel the same. Including many children whose voices have not been heard. One word, Disappointed.”

“School district 79 closed down the only nature school in the district without public consult and has failed our children in doing so. Routinely sharing borderline inappropriate things for celebrations and cowardly closing comments and blocking parents for standing up for what’s right. Think very wisely before you register for SD79, if you can afford private, dodge this bullet”
