I had foot surgery in June 2026. Best staff and so caring. I have bad anxiety and they we're so understanding about it all. I talk lots when I get anxious. I was nervous and a bit scared. They helped me feel better. Sandy, in the recovery room, had to put up with me the longest. She was so sympathetic and took really good care of me. She really knows her stuff. I couldn't of asked for a better, professional caring nurse. Thank you Sandy for helping me through it.

I have nothing but praise and thanks to ALL staff at this hospital. My visits over the recent weeks have been top notch, with friendly staff helping me to check in, to giving me directions .... last of all, sincere thanks and appreciation to all the AMAZING Doctors & Nurses who work there (particular shout out to Dr. Rowena Almeida), who offer dignity, respect and caring for all. I'm very fortunate that this hospital/facility is close to home. I'm not wishing to visit anytime soon - but for those who may have to - rest assured, you're in great hands.

I would like to say thank you to all staff and Dr. Yung at Centenary Hospital for the excellent care I received for my outpatient procedure on July 7th. From the nice gentleman at reception that helped me register. Registration is very simple but I was stressed and did not feel like reading and he helped me through it at 6:15am. The nurses were wonderful in the Cath Lab both before and while I recovered from my procedure. They were very friendly, professional and explained all items very well. I was one of the last to leave for the day and thank you to Nicki for taking me to my daughter's car when I was allowed to leave. Thank you to Dr. Yung and his surgical staff for their care. All in all, a great experience (but not one I want to repeat - LOL) The care was excellent. Thank you.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was pregnant and was bleeding heavily, the nurses despite being kind placed me in minor emergency and then took two hours for a doctor to see me and then another two hours for ultrasound, and then two hours for the results. I don’t know why this hospital even has the emergency department when there was no urgency in any of the nurses or doctors, no sense of care towards a serious matter especially something as sensitive as a pregnancy, and on top of that, when my husband or mom would inquire about the wait time, they would intentionally ignore. It’s disrespectful and I do not recommend anyone to come here unless they are willing to wait 7+ hours and their matter is not severe. Even walk in clinics in Scarborough offer better and quicker service. I blame them for my outcome.

A year to this day I was admitted to the hospital for a severe infection in my shoulder. After visiting the walk in clinic (not this walk in) twice they told me to take robax for the pain. This hospital staff looked at my shoulder and immediately said it looks like I have an infection. I was then put to emergency and yes I had to wait and they wanted to do a drainage that day. But the er dr then decided that the infection was just past him knowledge (I’m happy he was honest about it)they did my blood work and got me to do An mri to further confirm how bad the infection was. then I was referred to Dr. Zorn the plastic surgeon, she was ready to do my surgery but also said she was want to make sure she had other dr on staff for when they did my infection removal, she advocated for me so hard. She ended up having 3 other surgeons with her when I was operated on and everything went really well. The infection had almost reached into my bone, thankfully it had not but they treated it as if it did. she followed up with so many times before and after my surgery. They kept me for 10 days bc my surgery did get moved but I understand why she did that. I just want to thank the staff of this hospital as everyone was so nice to me. I am an true hater of our medical system and allopathic medicine in general as I am an advocate for natural Medicine. But there is needs for allopathic medicine at times and this was one of them. They did everything in their power to help me and I’m all healed up and healthier even ever bc my experience pushed me to get healthier and hit the gym ect . Anyways I highly recommend it here as the staff was great, bedside manner was a little rough but if I ever needed serious help like this again , I would not hesitate to go to this hospital even tho it was 25 mins away from me .

I couldn't have asked for a better birth experience. I started out with a midwife but when I needed augmentation, my care was transferred to Dr. Huh and the team at Centenary. Literally every single person made me feel seen, comfortable, and well taken care of. The aftercare was somehow even more impressive, we had nurses checking on us constantly and they really ensured we had absolutely everything we needed. The nurses were amazing, the lactation consultants were amazing, the communication between everyone to make sure we were provided the absolute best care was amazing. Overall a really great experience.

We are beyond grateful to the entire birthing center team for the incredible care we received during the arrival of our baby girl. From the nurses and doctors to every staff member we encountered, everyone showed such compassion, professionalism, patience, and genuine kindness throughout our stay. The level of knowledge, attention, and support we received made one of the biggest moments of our lives feel safe, comforting, and truly special. Every nurse and doctor took the time to answer our questions, care for both mom and baby with so much dedication, and make us feel supported every step of the way. We honestly cannot say enough great things about the entire team. The care we experienced went above and beyond our expectations, and we will always remember how warmly we were treated during such an important time in our lives. Thank you all for helping bring our baby girl into the world with so much love and care.

I want to give a huge shout-out to Dr. D. Edwards, gynecologist, and his amazing nurse Taniquea at Scarborough Centenary Hospital. Today was my first time meeting Dr. Edwards for a colposcopy. I was so nervous after reading so much about it online, but I knew it had to be done — my sister may not have had her abnormal Pap smears followed up in time, and she is now in ICU with advanced cervical cancer. I came with my husband for support; at first he was asked to wait outside, which made me even more anxious. The nurse noticed how stressed I was and moved me to another room so my husband could be with me, which helped a lot. When it was my turn, Nurse Taniquea explained everything clearly and reassured me, saying it was “just a fancy Pap test” and that she would help me through it. Dr. Edwards was gentle, kind, and explained each step as he went. Taniquea held my hand, distracted me by asking about my tattoo, and guided my breathing during the biopsy. Their care and compassion made a terrifying experience manageable. I thanked Dr. Edwards and asked to keep him as my gynecologist. If you’re looking for a gynecologist, consider asking your family doctor to refer you to Dr. D. Edwards at Scarborough Centenary — if you’re comfortable with a male doctor. Ladies, please get your Pap tests and follow up on abnormal results. If something feels off, get it checked and seek a second opinion if needed — it can save your life.

You Guys Don't deserve a single Star from me. Worst Experience ever in a hospital like this. You guys don't have any ethics. You let your patients suffers to death you guys just don't care about the patient you guys only care about Money. I had to face horrible experiences in this hospital. For everything I had to pay high charges. Also if the patients die you guys just don't care all you care about is first give money then get treatment. Either you suffers to death doesn't even matter. I had terrible experience when I was in labor I was waiting for my epidural the anesthesiologist just came in first he ask for money in cash or else he won't do the epidural even though the patient was suffering in pain. So unethical and very unprofessional. Pediatrician charged me like for just few minutes $500 cash. Canada's all hospital are like this so expensive for non residential but I don't know why , if you guys keep the charges for all people reasonable then people not going wave the money without pay please think once what is good for human wellbeing and your reputation for hospital maybe in future people will see the changes good luck.

ATTENTION VISITORS: North Entrance’s long term parking lot is closed. One needs to go to the back of the hospital to access more parking spaces. Long Term rates are cheaper than Short Term Parking rates. Note: North Entrance’s Short Term parking is open. Mostly disabled parking spaces. CAUTION: Went to the wrong hospital for an appointment tonight. I called days before to confirm which hospital it will be, but was given the wrong information. —->>> The automated text hospital appointment reminder is awesome, but please state the address of the hospital within that message. There’s lots of hospitals in Toronto with the name GENERAL. I don’t want this ever to happen to another family. Thank you to 2 beautiful Angels. The lady at the Registration Desk helped us by calling the CT Imaging Technician to see if she can accommodate us. Both of these ladies worked together to move our CT Scan appointment from one hospital to another, even though the CT Imaging department was extremely busy tonight. Thank you so much, you don’t understand how thankful we are. Lugging someone in a wheelchair is not easy. This was an evening appointment too. Walk In Clinic is near the North Entrance. Turn right as soon as you enter the hospital. There’s a Shoppers Drugs Mart and a Bubble Tea Shop near the North Entrance. There’s a LifeLab here, but remember one has to pay for parking. Short term parking rate is $4 per half hour. Maximum $16. Long term parking rates, please check out my photo. Floor map and directory is available, just check my pics.
