“Amazing staff and clients are amazing too it is a great place to grow and heal from both mental health and addictions. I seen so much growth and lots of people willing to heal and learn about themselves. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs support with mental health and addictions. “This place has been nothing less than a complete nightmare to deal with. My girlfriend checked herself in and there are abusing her there.We can't get anybody to help.I keep calling the patient quality care office a they do nothing. I try to go through the chain of command and they refuse. I drop off forms for power of attorney and for medical access for my girlfriend to sign and get back to me and nothing she never gets them. The constantly lie about what my girlfriend is saying and they coerce her into writing thing that are contrary. I've\nSpent days on the phone calling Frasier Valley Health authority and legal aid an I'm getting nowhere. They said she could only be released if somebody will come to pick her up.I've been here over a week in a hotel or at times sleeping on this outside because I have no world to go and I can't get them to release her to me period if you're reading this and you can help please help or desperate. We just want our lives back.We just want to move on and away from these people and never see them again and never hear from them again and not wish them any good at all. Please if you're reading this understand our medical system should not be here to induce nightmare of like scenarios and to rip families and people that love each other apart. All they have done is make a situation where somebody needs some help into a complete nightmare.”

“I went too Red fish march 21 2023. I was there for ten months and absolutely was the best place. They took such good care of me. There was all sorts of events lots of fun stuff. After I finished treatment at Red fish I went too coast. Coast is on the same grounds. Cost is second stage treatment. I was there for five months and they also took good care of me. They lots of fun stuff with us. Highly recommend these treatment centres too anyone struggling with addiction and mental health issues. Since I finished my treatment my mental health has improved greatly.i read on my page here of someone’s review that they used the gift cards and a bag he used to smuggle substances into Red Fish. Red Fish will only work if that person really wanted to get clean. My clean date is 03/21/23 and today’s date is 09/16/25. He used whatever he could to get high while he was in there instead of fighting for his life. It wasn’t Red Fishes fault or coast. I went there to change my life. I’m now taking a course to be a peer support worker.”

“Man I had a good experience here the second time the first time was terrible Dr Lukas histavac spitted me or something and reported me to road safety saying ng I'm unfit to hold a drovers license even though I'm the most inclined person in there. There's people coming through there who are nodding out not knowing where they are and have never lost their licence this Dr is God awful and it's been 2 years still can't drive”

“My experience here has been nothing short of harrowing. How people in mental anguish can be treated with such an utter lack of compassion is cruel. I wonder whether they are naturally uncaring and cold or whether years of seeing people struggling with abuse and trauma has left the staff devoid of any empathy whatsoever.”

“This place is absolutely disgusting they take new born children away when this treatment can be done at children's hospital. Way to go bc children's hospital you are taking children away from mothers that did 1 thing wrong. I hope red fish is shut down until they can come up with a better model. 9 months without your baby is absolutely disgusting 🤬🤬🤬🤬”

“This place is no good. Don't believe what they tell you. Its basically a prison camp. locked doors, nurses and managers behind plex glass all day. They need to have boots on the ground approach, counseling the people that need it instead of playing on their phones all day long.”

“I was there visiting and Ll the other patients do is drool and wander the halls. They have no programs to learn about addiction, what it is and what it does,nor is there anything to implement personal growth or and other type of learning. I feel sorry for them because while they have a facility, they aren't getting any rehabilitation.”

“This place is excellent!! The staff is caring and attentive! Definitely five star! Dealing with someone who has been suffering with mental illness and or drug addiction, takes a great deal of skill and patience! I have personally visited the hospital and I very grateful for the help a dear friend received! Unfortunately, there will always be people who don't want to seek treatment and will be resistant.”
