I recently completed a 9 week physio program at Queen City Physiotherapy and I have made a great improvement in my functionality. I started the program with multiple injuries after a bad fall. Lorna tailored a workout program that targeted all the areas that needed strengthening and took the time to walk me through and teach me exactly how to do all the exercises and use the machines correctly. I required ultrasound therapy from the physiotherapist and Ella was so wonderful and did the treatments on me often so that I would have the best outcome. Preston, a kinesiologist is great and teaches mini classes each Friday. Katie works the front desk and is always kind and welcoming. Queen City provides such an enjoyable, positive and calming environment where all the clients just come in and get right to work to heal their bodies. I highly recommend Queen City Physiotherapy to aid you to heal from your injuries and get back to your normal life again.

Overall my experience was good here. I can see where the negative reviews of Pat are coming from, she did come across as condescending a couple of timesk. That said I would encourage people not to be afraid of her as she seems quite knowledgeable. I don't think she is intentionally trying to make it a bad experience. I think she has an expectation that the people who are coming in should be prepared for the visit. Know specifically where the pain is worst. Know what activities make it better/worse. Exactly when the injury happened and how it has progressed(positively or negatively) since then. She is going to have a very difficult time helping you if you only give her vague/general information which it seems she has no patience for. Go in prepared and dont expect her to coddle you through the process and your visit will be just fine.

A male friend highly recommended Patricia Beharry I was a RN for fifty years and have studied many modalities including Massage and Traditional Chinese Medicine Patricia's results for both of us (while employing such a light touch) were absolutely astounding I also had an interesting far reaching discussion with her where she tentatively diagnosed a very unusual condition Two extremely enthusiastic votes for Patricia We thought she was AMAZING ❤️ 💕 💞

Horrible experience don’t waste your time . Patricia was horrible. She was belittling cutting me off every time I tried to talk about my pain.. She had me crying When I first walked in, I heard her tell the receptionist another waste of my time. How is this place even in business?

I had two very negative experiences with Pat. When attempting to explain how I experiencing my shoulder pain she cut me off at every turn. She said that I was “thinking about it too much” when going through her guided motions. At the end of my first appointment she said “I believe you”. What? I said I’m not going through WCB, I’m not looking for time off work, and I haven’t missed work so…thanks? I came back a week later and I said nothing has changed (was prescribed a stretching regime which I followed) and that I just want to know what’s happening with my shoulder as I have been missing so much sleep due to pain. She dismissed this and asked why I wanted to know why I wanted to know about it. She again said I was thinking too much about my motions. In tears, I said I didn’t know what she thought I was trying to do here but I just wanted my shoulder to be evaluated and the soreness to the touch and clicking motions while moving it were pretty excruciating (I had also attempted both times to demonstrate which motions hurt the most and she cut me off) She did not answer me and left the room with the ultrasound machine she treated me with.

Absolutely dreadful experience. The doctor talked down to my mom that has incredibly bad physical & mental pain. Pat if you’re reading this you’re a miserable person and I hope you feel ashamed. Disgusting insulting and completely patronizing.

TLDR: DO NOT attend Queen City Physiotherapy, while they all might not be like the lady I dealt with (Patricia), the fact that they lied about seeing me for 2 appointments to SGI and tried billing them for 2 instead of just the one appointment I actually had means that they are more than likely going to lie about other things. My experience at Queen City Physiotherapy Professional Corp. was the worst experience I have ever had when it comes to physio. Someone rear-ended my vehicle, so SGI had me choose where I would do my physio. I chose this establishment because it was fairly close to home but that ended up being a big mistake. The lady who was supposed to be my physiotherapist, her name is Patricia, asked me questions relating to the injury, and when I tried to answer her, she would cut me off. Every question without fail, would have an interruption. Then, when I began answering in shorter sentences she would tell me I'm not giving her enough information. (Which makes no sense because every time I tried to give her the information she would stop me). While interrupting me is one thing, I found that these interruptions stemmed from the fact that it seemed like she didn’t believe any of what I was describing to her. It was like she thought I was faking an injury, which is impossible because literal x-rays were done to show where the trauma occurred. The entire appointment was filled with her implying that I was lying and she continued to gaslight me. In an environment where you are supposed to be going for help in your healing journey, there is no reason a professional should make a client feel so uncomfortable and stressed. Towards the end of the appointment she got me to lie down on the table to examine the area, and only THEN did she realize that something was in fact wrong with my spine. She then tried to play nice as if she hadn’t already spent the entire appointment being passive aggressive and rude. I didn’t book any further appointments, what I did do is call SGI immediately after the appointment and asked to switch facilities. They were kind enough to allow that BUT I later got a call back from SGI saying that Queen City Physiotherapy billed SGI for 2 APPOINTMENTS instead of 1. This to me is EXTREMELY DISHONEST behavior, as I only had one appointment and it wasn’t a full appointment, just paperwork and verbal assessment (with 5 mins of her feeling my neck). The fact that they were dishonest and tried to get paid by SGI twice says everything about this establishment. The manager Preston called me to apologize for Patricia's behavior, but this was before SGI told me they got billed twice. This means that their apology was DISINGENUOUS. Do not waste your time or money at this establishment.

I have attended queen city physio for about the past year with a serious shoulder injury . I have found and highly recommend the facility for not only their treatment but as well as their compassion understanding and dedication to working thru not only my injury but the entire field of clientele they have . Also i do have to say preston makes the best coffee 😁
