“I had an excellent experience with Peter at Peterborough Massage Therapy Clinic, located downtown Peterborough. The clinic was clean, welcoming, quiet and very professional. Peter is a highly skilled registered massage therapist who takes the time to understand your concerns and customize each massage therapy session to target accordingly. What really stood out was his attention to detail and communication. He checked in regularly about pressure and focused on problem areas to ensure the treatment was both effective and relaxing. His deep tissue massage techniques were both effective and comfortable, providing real pain relief and improved mobility after just one session. He clearly has strong knowledge of muscle recovery, posture correction, and therapeutic massage. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping clients feel better and improve their overall wellness. I Will be returning! If you’re looking for a professional registered massage therapist in Peterborough for sports massage, posture correction, or relief from back pain and muscle tension, I highly recommend Peter at Peterborough Massage Clinic. “Had a great experience with Peter. I woke up with a tight neck and could barely turn my head. Booked in the same day with the website. He took the time at the start to figure out just what was wrong and was able to get my head moving again that day. The downtown parking can be a bit messy, but it's not bad if there's a free spot on Stuart st. Next time I have a problem I know where I'm going.”Read moreShow less

“I visited Peterborough Massage Therapy Clinic on January 23, 2026, for the first time because they had the earliest available appointment. My session was with Peter. Within the first few minutes of the massage, I noticed he kept turning away from me, massaging with only one hand, and I could hear him using the computer in the treatment room. I decided to look up while he was looking at the computer saw that he was scrolling on X (Twitter). As a young woman in a vulnerable position, this made me extremely uncomfortable. I have never experienced a therapist using an electronic device during a massage, and it felt highly unprofessional. When I confronted him, he apologized and admitted he was “aimlessly scrolling” and stated “this work can be… slow” (referencing how massage work be mentally understimulating?). After the session, he apologized and stated that he was “uncomfortable charging me for the service”, acknowledging he had not provided proper service. I was shocked and disgusted by the lack of professionalism. No one should feel uncomfortable or disrespected during a massage. I frequently get massages, and have visited many different clinics before and have never once encountered an RMT using a computer to scroll social media during a service. Highly unprofessional. Unfortunely, Peter’s response was suggestive that this was not his first time doing this and that I was the first person to call him out for this behaviour. Leaving this clinic I felt extremely uncomfortable and left in a state of shock considering the actions that Peter had taken. I also want to note that the treatment room had a large window with no curtains or blinds, facing nearby houses, which is very unsettling given that clients undress in these rooms.
