“I’ve been suffering for 30 years with severe neck pain from a car accident as well as a terrible low back injury and other serious injuries that leave me in chronic pain constantly. Over the years I’ve tried so many things to try to help with the pain but only get minimal relief that usually comes back quickly after. I go for regular chiro adjustments and a couple months ago I heard a client talking about how good they felt following their appointment with Hyacinth. I decided to make an appointment with her and honestly was so embarrassed as I had so many injuries but she was amazing and felt confident that she could definitely assist with some relief. I’ve now had about 6 sessions and see her weekly and omg it’s been literally life changing in how much this has helped especially with my neck pain and low back pain. She knows exactly what to do each time and I’ve been sleeping so good as long as I am diligent with seeing her. I wish I would have found her sooner but at least I see her now. She is so calm, caring and knowledgeable . I highly recommend her to anyone considering acupuncture !!”

“The osteoarthritis I’d been diagnosed with years ago eventually impeded ability to sleep. Attempts at various treatments were of short term benefit. The kicker came when I could no longer hold a pencil or pen to write. I sought the help of Hyacinth, partly on the advice of both a chiropractor and a massage therapist. Hyacinth quickly assured me that pain could readily be managed by means of a series of acupuncture treatments. Her assessment was exactly right. I am able to perform household chores, cooking, baking, gardening, shovelling snow and playing in various musical groups free of pain. I’ve now returned to her practice on a regular basis for maintenance purposes. “I was having trouble with some serious back pain. My previous Acupuncturist in Edmonton retired so I was looking for a replacement. I had tried Physiotherapy previously with limited results. Found Dr. Hyacinth and thought I would give her a try. I was not disappointed. She is a very thoughtful and caring person and she knows her trade very well. Before starting treatment, I had extreme difficulty sleeping and getting out of bed in the morning. The pain was excruciating. After just a handful of sessions with Dr. Hyacinth, I am nearly pain free and I am continuing to improve. I used to be a skeptic and afraid of needles. Not anymore and the needles are barely noticeable. It worked for me! Thank you Dr. Hyacinth!!”

“While neither of us had poor experiences with the chiropractor Dr. Dunford, his adjustments for my wife were fine and how he worked on her was similar to other chiropractors we’ve used, we were very disappointed with what was described as “office policy” and an inability to accommodate an urgent need. My recommendation would be to ensure you read all the fine print and make sure their policies will work well for your life. As in our case I was not able to get an appointment with one of the practitioners even though their schedule had availability and this was explained to me as an office policy because I had seen a different person 3 years earlier and they won’t allow you to see a different chiropractor in the same office once you’ve seen one. The only appointment available with the man I had seen 3 years ago was at the end of the day and I was in far too much agony to wait all day. So I made the drive to Spruce Grove and saw Dr. Devon at Elements who got me in immediately and is always fabulous, and their office does not have a policy limiting who you can see, in fact I’m going back in two days to see someone else since the one I saw today won’t be available then. Lesson learned, make sure you know everything about an offices policies before you start using them.”

“My leg was hurting so bad that I couldn’t sleep or barely walk- after acupuncture with Hyancinth it is incredibly better, it’s the only thing that made a real difference- now I can sleep and walk! She is amazing, I can’t recommend her enough. She is also helping me with my trigger finger and planters fasciitis. I must look like a pin cushion when she is working on me but it sure works!”
