“I had a 60-minute spot treatment booked for at 2:15 PM. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. My appointment was scheduled for 2:15, I was in the building by 2:10, but the massage therapist didn’t introduce herself until around 2:20, when she asked if I had completed the health questionnaire. I told her I didnt know they sent one ahead of time, do I hadn’t had a chance to fill it out yet, so she gave me an iPad to complete it at that time. After I finished, she brought me into the room and instructed me to undress and get on the table. I then waited another five minutes before she returned. She began working on my back at around 2:30 PM and finished at 3:16 PM. I had paid for a 60-minute treatment, but hands-on time was about 45 minutes. When I went to pay, I confirmed with the receptionist that I was scheduled for a 60-minute session. I asked whether that time included filling out the questionnaire and the waiting period before the massage started. She confirmed that it did. I understand that intake forms and transitions are part of any appointment, but I was surprised that these were counted as part of the 60-minute treatment time. If a client books and pays for a full hour of massage therapy, it seems reasonable to expect close to 60 minutes of hands-on treatment. I did tip, because she did what I asked, and will be submitting my receipt for insurance, but I left feeling that the value did not match what was advertised. I’m not sure if this is standard practice everywhere or specific to this spa, but it didn’t feel right.”Read moreShow less

“Went here over a year ago for a Lash Lift and Tint. The aesthetician talked about herself incessantly making for an uncomfortable experience while the work was just OK. Saw they were offering silent services so I decided to try again. Despite booking a silent service the same person talked my ear off about her, I prefer to relax in the quiet. The service itself this time was uneven.”Read moreShow less
