“I took my 30yr old disabled daughter here for a cleaning. The hygienist and staff are great but my issue is that they charged her an extra 75$ for the cleaning. She is with the new Ontario health benefits and the office fees are higher. You would think if the person is using the Ontario benefit that the office would not charge extra. “This is lengthy but people have to make informed decisions when it comes to their health. The procedure I had was, wisdom teeth extraction (2 on right side). I have gone to many dentists in my life. But Dr. Lyudmyla Ushakova, stood out from the rest, sincerely thank you. She did it all within 15 minutes. When she pulled the first tooth, it was so fast, I didn't even feel her pull. When she said "now onto the second". I was confused and after realizing she's saying she pulled the first one out. I was in disbelief, to the point I asked her to see the tooth. Now no two people are the same, and wisdom teeth are sometimes more complicated. So not everyone will have the same experience. But even the injection of the anesthetic was painless. Some dentists are rough, and even good doctors the needle will be uncomfortable and a bit of pain. But her hand, and her skill genuinely impressed me. The whole thing was so pain free, that I was able to work a 9 hour shift afterwards. This is the day after the procedure and I feel nothing except a little soreness in the jaw. I'm telling y'all, she is the best dentist I have ever come across. 2 wisdom teeth, painless during the procedure, little soreness after. I neglected my dental hygiene for a very long time. Because 1. I dont have money. 2. After some pretty bad experiences as a kid, going to the dentist became nerve racking and full of skepticism. She did great on both ends, she charged me a very very reasonable price. And it was an amazing experience. This extraction was less painful than fillings I had done. Imagine that. As for the customer service aspect some of yall are talking about. Personally I found it very hospitable and everyone was smiling, kind, understanding (no judgement either) and answered all my questions perfectly. I just think the health of your teeth, the skills of the dentist are the most important thing in choosing a dental office to go to. Customer service although great isn't relevant. Choose a dentist based of skill, not customer service. I know this was excessively long, but I cant put into words how impressed I was by her. She blew my mind. Dr. Ushakova, thank you so much. You saved me so much trouble and pain. You should be the standard for dentists.”Read moreShow less
