“Dr. Friskie is the best optometrist I have ever been to and I have been wearing glasses since I was 6 years old, I am now 53. Dr. Friskie is a kind, understanding and very knowledgeable optometrist. I have never had a health care professional spend so much time explaining what is going on with my eye health. He will answer as many questions as you have and you never feel rushed when you are seeing him. As long as he is practicing I will never see any other optometrist. He is 1 in a million. If you are looking for a great optometrist situated in an absolutely beautiful office with friendly staff, look no further you have found your place. 😊👍👍”

“Great experience (as usual) We have been seeing Dr Fritzky and his team for many years. Dr Fritzky is the absolute best! He always explains and goes over your test results with you in terms you can understand. Special mention a well for Marjorie in the frames/lens area. She provides the best friendly service you could ask for! Try them! You won't be disappointed!”

My glasses took a few days longer than anticipated, due to a quality standard issue, and I appreciate the attention to detail and standards of quality they are committed to, with a better than fair price. “Wow...where do I begin. 4 years ago, when living in Calgary, at the age of 48 I was diagnosed with Dry-Eye Macular Degeneration. I was told there is no treatment and should plan for the inevitable vision loss... Fast forward to the past 2 weeks... A new treatment was approved by Health Canada and I was one of the very first in Regina to receive the MacuMira treatment at FYI Starlight. There is a noticeable improvement in my vision just after the initial 4 treatments...especially at night with driving...everything seems sharper and headlights are not as hard on the eyes. My eyes also don't seem to tire as fast when looking at computer screens. I am so very thankful to Dr. Selimos, Dr. Stevens, Dr. Friskie and to Des for all that you have done. This experience has exceeded any and all expectations I had. I look forward to the continuing maintenance treatments and to future improvements in my eye health. If anyone who reads this knows of someone suffering the effects of Dry AMD, please look into this...you don't realize how much we take for granted the simplest thing like seeing until its threatened. “Wow! Dr. Stevens was awesome. Took time to go over decisions concerning my eye health and was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Now, Marjorie absolutely made this the most fun I ever had picking frames and lenses. She has a wonderful sense of humour and we actually had fun while we went through picking lenses, getting measurements and sorting out the billing. And she did some top notch maintenance on my existing glasses. She took boring out of the experience and had us laughing and enjoying ourselves. Great job!!!”

“Everyone was kind and welcoming, they explained what each test does, they showed results and explained those too. I was in with my wife, and while they helped her, they replaced my nose pads and a screw without charge. Marjorie was phenomenal and explained my prescription, how progressives work, and explained the importance of them. She helped us pick out frames, made sure we got the proper packages and how to submit these to our insurance (they usually direct bill, but my insurance doesn’t allow it). She wanted to make sure I got good care and I got terrific care. Thank you!”
