“Not a family Friendly Company. I was very disappointed to learn that this company’s extremely rigid cancellation policy. Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance — or by Friday if your appointment is on a Monday — or you are charged 50% of services that can be hundreds of dollars, even if no services are provided. No flexibility is provided even if it is your first time cancelling, if you are a new or long term customer. This policy is not family-friendly at all. Anyone with children knows that illnesses, injuries, or unexpected situations can come up suddenly and without warning. Despite genuinely trying to keep appointments, there is no flexibility or understanding for these realities. While I understand that businesses need policies to protect their time, this one feels excessively strict and punitive. Clients can be charged hundreds of dollars without receiving any service, even in legitimate and unavoidable circumstances. As a result of this lack of flexibility and understanding, I’ve chosen that this company is not for us as we have children. I believe policies like this discourage families and do not reflect a customer-focused approach.”Read moreShow less

“This clinic may not be a good fit for mothers and/or primary caregivers. The practice enforces a strict cancellation policy requiring 24–72 hours’ notice. For Monday appointments, cancellations must be made by Friday, regardless of the reason. If this requirement is not met, patients are charged 50% of the appointment fee, even when the appointment costs several hundred dollars, no service is provided, it is a first-time cancellation, and the clinic is able to fill the slot. Notably, this policy applies even in cases involving a sick child or if the child is in an accident . For a healthcare practice, this lack of flexibility is concerning. While several practitioners’ profiles state that they focus on women’s health, the clinic’s policies suggest a limited understanding of the realities many women face—particularly mothers managing caregiving responsibilities and unavoidable emergencies. The disconnect between their stated focus and their actual practices is significant. Patients seeking a provider who demonstrates practical understanding and support for women’s lived experiences may wish to consider this before booking. Other companies providing similar services understand emergencies and illnesses come up, and only enforce such policies if a client is a regular and repeat offender. Not someone who has never missed an appointment previously. I have decided to go elsewhere after finding out about this very stick policy. “I was looking for testing of nutrient levels, vitamins and minerals in this place. I was seen by a very professional and pleasant in conversation doctor. She showed me several versions of this test, with different levels of detail and information. A very good place in this sense. It's a pity it's a little expensive. But I would definitely like to come back here for these tests when I have more "free funds". And even without the test, during the consultation I got a lot of useful information for myself from the doctor, so I can definitely recommend this place in general. “This is a great clinic with expert doctors and fantastic staff. Dr. Cheryl Karthaus saved my life. She worked with me to manage Lyme Disease and I went from being able to function only one hour per day to having an almost normal life.
