“Felt like her hands where barely touching me, I asked her to apply more pressure four times and she would just say “good?” Without making any changes (I did not and do not feel like it was relaxing at all, and it certainly did not help relax any muscles) then at one point she covered me with a blanket head to toe and ran her hands over me?? It was very odd and I’ve had many messages before this was by far the worst. “I had Hope for my massage/exfoliation/mask & after makeup application. Wonderful experience. Hope was engaging but not overbearing. Very compassionate when I was talking about personal events. “If you’re looking for a pedicure this is not the place. Polish was fine but the overall experience was lacking. The massage that comes with it was awful and virtually nonexistent. I’ve never had someone wear latex gloves during a massage (so when there was no lotion left they apparently couldn’t tell). And the extra massage time just didn’t happen at all. “I tried to book a massage yesterday for 2pm. They booked me in and later on called to cancel because therapist had called in sick. Person on the telephone told me she will rebook me in today for 2pm. After checking back in the hotel I stopped by to confirm MRT had not called in sick again. The lady working said there was no appointment and that they do not provide the service at this location. Why would she have booked me yesterday if thisservice is not provided. “Vishakha Panchal is such a natural. I had a great time for my first spa experience for the year and I am glad she got to service me. Damara Spa has always maintained its standards. Always leaving me wanting to come back the ambience is so calm and welcoming and the staff are all great. “Navita did an amazing job on my gel manicure and pedicure! The color has already lasted two weeks without any chipping. Navita was so patient and took her time to make sure my nails were perfect! “Received a hot stone massage. It was okay. The massage itself was great, and Ashley did a great job. It was quite cold inside the spa, I was expecting it to be warm and relaxing. The only time I was relaxed and felt warm, was when she put wet hot towels around my feet and my chest. The environment was very very small and squished, no room to put my items or hang my jacket. It was also very loud, you could hear every car outside and all conversations from people walking outside. The music was also not a spa music, it sounded like that was not good. Just For You Day Spa offers way more during their massages and I feel very relaxed during them, and for less cost as well.”Read moreShow less

“I’m visiting my spouse who is in Regina working for several months. I thought we could enjoy a nice couples massage. Overall the experience was pretty poor. When we arrived we were asked to fill out a form. We weren’t offered a place to sit and had to stand while filling out the form which is very awkward. Once we were done the receptionist finished the intake and still didn’t offer us a place to sit or a water/tea. We stood there awkwardly for several minutes. Afterward she gave us very confusing instructions as to where the waiting area was which is odd because it’s right around the corner. The wait for the massage wasn’t long and we quickly got undressed and ready for the massage. The ladies used an ungodly amount of oil and it was really cold, not exactly a great start. It became apparent very quickly that they weren’t very well trained. I can’t imagine they have much more experience than some on the job training. Some areas like my quads they couldn’t have spent more than 15 seconds on. Time management wasn’t. This cost us $200 plus a tip. I couldn’t recommend this service.”Read moreShow less
