“I recently visited Casbah Spa for a Signature Facial as a treat for myself and a friend. Before the treatment began, I clearly advised the esthetician that I have sensitive skin and wanted to be cautious with any products or treatments used. Unfortunately, by that evening I experienced a severe reaction. My skin became extremely red, rashy, painful, and hot to the touch. Two days later, my skin is still irritated, uncomfortable, and highly sensitive. It appears that my skin barrier has been significantly compromised. What makes this especially disappointing is that I had no skin issues prior to my appointment. I went in looking forward to a relaxing self care experience and left dealing with ongoing discomfort and damage to my skin. While the spa environment itself was pleasant, my experience with the facial was very concerning given that my sensitive skin was disclosed in advance. I hope this feedback encourages greater care when assessing clients' skin sensitivities and selecting treatments and products.”Read moreShow less

“The Casbah Signature Facial is the ultimate pampering experience. It starts with a relaxing back massage and scrub before the facial even begins. The estheticians are incredibly skilled, providing blissful neck, arm, and hand massages while the masks set. The quiet lounge with tea and fruit makes it a true oasis. “I had a wonderful experience today. From moment i walked in, the atmosphere was calm and welcoming.I was offered a glass of wine and had time unwind in the steam room which really set the tone for relaxation. Makaley, my esthetician,was fantastic- very knowledgeable,attentive,and made sure i was comfortable throughout the entire treatment. My facial itself was amazing and my skin feels refreshed, hydrated and glowing. You can tell they really care about the whole experience not just the service. “I had a wonderful Comatose 90-minute massage from Deepika. Deepika made me feel super comfortable and relaxed before, after and during the appointment. I highly recommend Deepika for massage. I also got the Peppermint Scalp add-on, and I experienced watery eyes from the strong peppermint aroma, so based on personal experience with the oil- I will skip that add-on next time personally. I recommend getting to your appointment early to enjoy Casbah’s lux amenities and vibes. “I’ve always had wonderful experiences at this amazing local business, as well as the evolution beauty bar for the past 10+ years. Treating myself to spa and medispa services have been put on the back burner for a long time now until I decided to prioritize a massage with deep tissue for my self-care and to manage an injury I’ve been struggling with Last night was no exception -I had hands-down the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever received in my life and I have received 50+ massage services, including specialty massages all over the world. Tiana was so incredible at her craft and I can’t wait to go back. Enjoying all of the wonderful tea and snacks, the relaxation room, steam room, and sauna. “The massage I had was very disappointed. I love this place and had a high expectation, I was gonna join the membership, but the masseuse was unprofessional, I asked for a few times for firmer pressure but I literally couldn’t feel anything, totally not on point and I just felt like she put oil on my skin without any skills.
