“Yoga Santosha has been a very welcoming and well organized studio, with a good variety of class options. The studio is bright and sunny and well stocked with all the props I could ever need. And the instructors bring a depth of knowledge I really appreciate, especially around the more spiritual/meditative aspects of the practice of yoga. I'm looking forward to more classes and time here in this caring community!”Read moreShow less

“I had a wonderful experience in the Yin/Restorative Warm class with Francine. She offered thoughtful pose variations and creative use of props to help everyone find what worked best for their body. I especially appreciated her emphasis on honoring individual differences and working with our bodies rather than against them. She answered my questions thoroughly, and her experience was evident throughout the class. She consistently guided us back to our breath and created such a calm, tranquil atmosphere. The studio itself is beautiful, and the warm room is a lovely space to practice in. As a new client, I was also touched that the instructors followed up with a text the next day to check in on how I was feeling after class — such a thoughtful gesture. I attended a restorative class at another studio the following week, and it wasn’t nearly up to Yoga Santosha’s standards. Highly recommend!”Read moreShow less

“Plenty of classes, lots of choices of times, days, and kinds of practice. Excellent, experienced instructors. Clean, calm spaces in Mission and Kensington. Ease of signing up for classes or dropping in. Helpful desk staff. Incentives — unexpected— in the form of bonus points. Attractive prices for people new to Santosha and wanting to try it out before committing.”Read moreShow less

“🌿 Yoga Santosha Feedback — Gentle Flow class with Shanti Sarah Class: Gentle Flow Teacher: Shanti Sarah Date: November 16, 2025 Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM Today was my first class at Yoga Santosha and I wanted to express my gratitude for such a beautiful and meaningful experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, grounded, and exactly where I needed to be. What stood out most to me was the teaching style of Shanti Sarah — gentle, clear, compassionate, and truly present. Nothing felt rushed or mechanical. The class wasn’t about perfection or performance, but about connection, breath, and love, and that resonated deeply with me. There were moments where I fell out of sync and couldn’t hold certain poses the way I used to, but instead of feeling judged, I felt safe and supported. The class reminded me that yoga isn’t about impressing anyone — it’s about showing up for myself, rebuilding, and learning how to love my body again. The biggest takeaway from the class was the reflection: “What does love mean to you, and why is love the most powerful attraction?” That question stayed with me during and after practice and opened something inside me I didn’t expect. Thank you for creating a space where healing, growth, gentle movement, and emotional safety can exist together. I am truly excited to continue my journey at Yoga Santosha — I already feel aligned with this community. Namaste 🙏 — Nicholas (Thầy Nick)”Read moreShow less

“Great, inviting spacious place to practice. Warm welcome, clean studio that offers a variety of classes and instructors with different styles. The studio space is quite large so you never feel so crammed when class is full. The lounge area and tea are the cherry on top to ending a practice.”Read moreShow less
