“The owner, who is an elderly woman, was kind, respectful, and professional, and I appreciated her customer service. However, the service I received for a 90‑minute session costing $254 didn’t match the value. I’ve had more effective treatments at lower prices. I also mentioned that the sheet didn’t look clean; she responded calmly, but I still believe newer linens would help. “I went in for an acupuncture treatment because this establishment is advertised as such. While the treatment felt Ok and it released some of the tension I was holding, it's worth noting that this practioner is NOT accredited nor registered by the College of Traditional Chinese Medecine Practioners and Acupuncturist of Ontario. Furthermore, Yingmei is not registered as a Naturopath in Ontario (only QC) yet practices in Ontario. As such, my insurance claim was denied citing that they only cover practitioners who practice in the province of their regulatory body. So, heads up to anyone reading this. Make sure to double check with your insurance first as your treatment may not be covered. I am with PSHCP. I'm left feeling a bit deceived as I had to foot the bill which was not cheap. And these details only appeared AFTER the treatment. Even the receipt she gave me has her old QC address on it. One more note, she only takes cash or debit for payment, no credit cards.”Read moreShow less
