“Dr. Yan is a truly exceptional traditional Chinese medicine practitioner — the best TCM doctor we have ever met. He resolved symptoms that had troubled me for many years, which is why I was willing to travel all the way from Ottawa to Toronto to see him. From the very beginning of the consultation, Dr. Yan stood out from other TCM practitioners. He spent a great deal of time patiently and thoroughly understanding my condition, carefully examining my pulse for an extended period while taking detailed notes and making thoughtful assessments. He combines both traditional Chinese and Western medical theories in his diagnosis and treatment, even incorporating wellness and preventive health guidance. His approach gave me an entirely new understanding of my overall health. Dr. Yan’s acupuncture technique is truly unique. The acupuncture points he selects are based on his deep and individualized understanding of the root cause of illness, not simply treating the area where symptoms appear. In some cases, symptoms that had persisted for years were dramatically relieved after just one session, which I honestly felt almost unbelievable. “Dr. Yan is a very professional and knowledgeable person. He also cares deeply about his patients and helps them with focus treatment and solving their problems from the root. He helped to deal with my vertigo and skin allergy which have bothered me for more than three weeks and family doctor and specialist didn’t see anything wrong and couldn’t do nothing about it.
