“Woodlawn Wellness Clinic had walk-in hours till 8:00pm. There cut off time is 7:30pm I arrived before the cut off time and Dr. Jennifer Beretta refused to see me saying that she already packing up. This is horrible service from a clinic that I pay fees for. She stated that my issue for coming waa not an emergency and she never even heard my issue. Poor service”Read moreShow less

“This is my family's dr office. The last 5 months I have booked 2 different appointments both time showed up early and the rude nasty front desk women for the second time tells me that I miss our appointments and she doesn't know what to tell me. I explained that I need my daughters refills for her medication and she flat out said she doesn't care and get out of "her" office. This is the most disrespectful place ever. I have reported this. If you are a young mother do not go here.”Read moreShow less

“Dr. Rizvi has been an outstanding physician for our family. I manage care for a family member with special medical needs, and he has been consistently patient, responsive, and thorough. He takes the time to explain medications, promptly answers inquiries, and makes the entire process feel supportive rather than rushed. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about his patients. I’m very grateful for the level of care provided and highly recommend Dr. Rizvi and team at Woodlawn Wellness Clinic.”Read moreShow less

“I was a patient of a medical professional at Woodlawn Wellness since earlier this year, and I chose this clinic because of the high ratings and positive experiences others shared. On September 22nd, I called to schedule an appointment after experiencing ongoing significant stress that was impacting my health and well-being. During that call, an office staff member repeatedly corrected me for referring to my primary care provider by a different medical title I had used before without issue. The staff member initially refused to allow me to submit notes ahead of my appointment, which I needed to ensure my most important concerns could be addressed without becoming overwhelmed. I explained that this interaction was impacting my health, but neither the office staff nor the clinic manager acknowledged it. Only when the clinic manager proactively asked me to submit my notes did it become clear that the staff’s initial refusal had been obstructing my access to care. This unexpected interaction ‘heightened’ my stress and significantly affected my health and well-being. During the in-person appointment a week later, I discussed the main reasons for seeking care, including important tests and referrals, and also shared in detail how the interaction with office staff had continued to impact me with my primary care provider. The stress from that interaction caused a flare-up of a health concern I had been managing for several years, significantly affecting my mental, emotional, and physical well-being. On a follow-up phone call two days later with my primary care provider, I addressed health concerns I was unable to discuss during the in-person appointment because of the time spent sharing background information on the flare up and the impact of the office staff incident. I also inquired about supportive counselling because of the impact of the incident, and was instructed to submit information for clinic management to review. Hours later, I received a call that I could no longer be seen as a patient by my primary care provider. No explanation, guidance, or support was provided, leaving me with no continuity of care and a significant disruption in the progress I was making. My medical records, which I received 11 days later, contained multiple inaccuracies. Their clinical notes misrepresented the date the incident with the office staff occurred by using an important date from the notes I had submitted instead. Information that was never discussed was included, and some notes were written in a way that painted me negatively rather than as someone seeking care. After my care was abruptly terminated, I sent several emails asking about the reason for my termination and what the next steps would be for important referrals, MRI requisitions, and other health concerns I had discussed with my primary care provider. I received no reply. I followed up later, requesting contact information for the medical director or owner to discuss the failure to follow regulatory standards and clinic policies, and still received no reply. A few days ago, I was contacted out of the blue by a referral specialist I had been told a referral would be submitted to. I had to explain that the medical professional was no longer my provider and that the results would need to be released directly to me. This unexpected situation caused additional stress and confusion, especially given that other important tests and referrals had never been addressed. Regulatory standards exist for how medical professionals must handle patient care and termination, but none were followed, and my inquiries received no response. For the primary care provider who was fully aware of my vulnerabilities and ongoing stress, abruptly terminating my care just hours after confirming next steps and follow-ups was shocking. This disruption of care has left me navigating ongoing pain from existing injuries, intensified neurological symptoms, ongoing psychological impacts and delayed referrals to specialists meant to address significant health concerns I have been dealing with.”Read moreShow less

“Giving this 5+ stars review to my family doctor Alexandra Amanzai - very professional, knowledgeable and helpful doctor, I’m happy to be her patient. Giving this sincere recommendation to whoever looks to find the right medical advisor for themselves - Dr. Alexandra will be your best choice. The clinic is overall comfortable as well, new and with lots of additional modern services (ADHD assessment, beauty procedures etc). I also buy all my meds from the “in-store” pharmacy which they have there - very convenient to have all in 1 place. Free parking”Read moreShow less
