“Dr. Obnamia is an excellent doctor at this clinic, I wish I could be rostered with her as my family doctor. I was rostered with Dr. Lacko when he had his practice on Humber College Blvd. Dr. Lacko hired my sister as a receptionist and I discovered a disgusting fact about Dr. Lacko, which thankfully came to an end when Dr. Lacko moved his practice to Woodbine Family Health Team. Unfortunately when Dr. Lacko moved to Woodbine Family Health Team, he became obsessed with his dietitian, Susan Yang and this got to the point where I refuse to see any dietitian because of this. I made several requests to be transferred to and rostered with Dr. Obnamia but unfortunately the reception staff are not the easiest people to deal with and actually became rude when I made this request. There were times when Dr. Lacko was on vacation and both me and my mom needed a doctor. The reception staff absolutely refused to allow us to see another doctor at the clinic. So my mom and I went to a walk in clinic. When Dr. Lacko found out he called my mom and was really upset. My mom tried to explain to Dr. Lacko the reception staff refused to let us see another doctor while he was on vacation. Dr. Lacko wouldn't hear it and really upset my mom with the phone call. It's unfortunate the staff here refused to switch me from being rostered with Dr. Lacko to be rostered with Dr. Obnamia. Finally, the reception staff are the rudest people I ever met and I've never seen any if them come close to smiling. I'd love the chance to change my review of Woodbine Family Health Team to a five star. But there are only two ways I will give this place a higher review. Either Dr. Lacko needs to change and be a better doctor (which i know Dr. Lacko can do) or I need to be rostered under Dr. Obnamia. My one star review does not reflect Dr. Obnamia.”Read moreShow less

“I personally think there should be something in place where you can pay a fee or something for your 3 year old child that has a fever and a rash to be seen by a doctor if their Canadian health card is JUST expired. The money is so important to this business that they have no work around, they’ll just send you out with your sick child and tell you they can’t help you even with being a patient for such a long time and your whole entire family being patients there. Yet, when you need a form filled out, it has to be paid in CASH … yet they can’t take cash to help a sick child with an EXPIRED health card. I mean, I get it’s expired but… it’s a 3 year old child.. there must be SOME morals SOMEWHERE.”Read moreShow less

“Anytime I call the office to book an appointment or ask a question the receptionists are rude, impatient, unfriendly and sound annoyed with me, even my son said they are rude. It would be nice to feel appreciated for calling them insead of feeling like I'm bothering them. Just a thought, try taking a customer service course because they are truly lacking some really important skills. Also WFH needs to have a, rate your service. “Dr Obnamia has to be one of the best MDs I have seen in a very long time. She takes the time to listen and ask questions. I have never felt that I was rushed or my concerns were being brushed over or minimized. I came to this clinic after horrible experiences with two previous family MDs, not paying attention to my symptoms and almost cost me more than I was willing to pay. And that was over 29 years ago when the system was still good. Glad one of them retired!!! Folks if your MD is not paying attention and you have that gut feeling something is going on….
