They don’t take emergency, you have to program your body to get sick according to them!

Friendly staff and great service; plus that is connected to lens crafters - will be making this my one stop shop from now on

Dr Dhaliwal and his team is awesome and very professional. My daughter and I had an incredible first experience with our routine eye exam. I highly recommend Dr. Dhaliwal to anyone who is looking for an optometrist.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Kam Dhaliwal. The appointment was quick, extremely professional, and very thorough. The clinic uses the latest technology, which made the entire exam feel modern and efficient while still being detailed and informative. Everything was well explained, and I never felt rushed. Highly recommend Dr. Dhaliwal for anyone looking for top tier eye care.

To be clear, this review is about the Willowbrook Optometry Clinic and not Lens Crafters. I have to mention in this whole process Lens Crafters and the manager Sofie delivered exceptional customer service. I would recommend them without hesitation. And that is why I have been getting my glasses from Lens Crafters for over 20 years. I had an eye exam at the Willowbrook Optometry Clinic in June 2025. When I received my glasses I instantly felt it was wrong. Lens crafters told me to try it out for a few days. Nothing improved. I then asked to be retested and also asked for a different optometrist. They told me it had to be the same optometrist. Unsurprisingly she found the prescription to be the same. Lens crafters adjusted the glasses again and told me to try a number of things: lower my chair, lift my monitor etc. Nothing helped. I had trouble seeing clearly near, mid and far distances. Six months later I went to a different clinic and spent $100 to get a new prescription simply because I just can’t handle the struggle anymore. The prescription was different. I took the new prescription back to Lens Crafters and they didn’t even hesitate to offer to get a new pair of lens for me. When they came, it was like night and day. I took the new prescription to the clinic and they said the manager will call me by the end of Monday (it was a Saturday). On Wednesday I finally got a call from a lady named Jennifer. She told me it’s their policy not to issue a refund. In the meantime she kept saying the prescriptions are nearly identical. Both the second optometrist and Lens Crafters said they are quite different. Then she said it was because of my eye health that my prescription had changed in between. The fact of the matter is the first prescription was not working from day one and the second one was clear as soon as I put the new glasses on. At the end she kept cutting me off mid sentence and I kept asking her to let me finish. She just kept talking over me. Seeing this is getting nowhere, I hung up. I can afford the $100 to get my eyes to see clearly and it was worth it. The way the clinic was behaving was rude and inexcusable. The optometrist name was Dr. Solmaz Pourvali.

I had a great experience at Willowbrook Optometry for my eye exam. The front desk staff were very kind and friendly throughout my appointment, the pretest was very thorough and Dr.Pourvali was great ! She not only checked my vision but also did a very comprehensive eye exam to check my eye health. She explained in detail what she was doing and took time to address my concerns. Overall a great experience !

I had an exceptional appointment at Willowbrook Optometry, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The clinic was clean and well-organized, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Dhaliwal was thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and all my questions were answered with care and expertise. The eye exam was state-of-the-art, and I left feeling confident about my eye health and prescription.

It was a surprise to realize that the one who treated us so poorly was the doctor herself, because one expects the staff to care less about the company's image or customer service. To my surprise, the staff had more human quality than the doctor, who looked at us like cockroaches since my 16-year-old son and I didn't know the brand of his contact lenses. The staff, however, handled the situation with professionalism and kindness, a stark contrast to the doctor's behavior. She laughed mockingly as she spoke, and when I saw her mocking laughter, I told her I didn't like it. When confronted, she tried to intimidate me, telling me to repeat that I didn't like her attitude. In just five minutes with her, she showed all her colors. I think the Hippocratic Oath doesn't contain good manners, or she wasn't taught them at home. It's clear that organizational image starts at the top, and if management doesn't prioritize it, the rest of the staff will follow suit. You can't expect great customer service from employees if leaders don't set the tone. And let's be real, no amount of social media marketing can compensate for poor management and bad leadership. If you want to improve your business, start with the people in charge they'll set the standard for everyone else. P.S. I'll attach a picture of the doctor Pourvali who saw my son. I do this also to help preserve the good reputation of the other doctors who I hope they genuinely care about their patients. Update:Initially, your phone call led me to believe that you genuinely care about your patients and are committed to making things right. However, the discrepancy between our conversation and the statement you posted here has raised concerns about the sincerity of your apology. You previously acknowledged that the staff member's behavior wasn't ideal and assured me that it wasn't in line with your clinic's policies. You also requested that I remove the photo and accept your apology, which I did. Nevertheless, I felt that your phone call was an attempt to influence my review, and I'd like to respectfully request that you refrain from contacting me again about this matter. I'm confident in my assessment and will not be revising my review.
