“Had a great first experience with Anna! She was patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. She gave me several exercises to do at home and made sure I understood how to do them properly. I left feeling confident and encouraged. I’m looking forward to my next visits and continuing my treatment with her. Oh, and not to forget the smiling wonderful staff greeting you at the front desk. Fantastic people! Thanks Anna! “I filled out firm's at home then had more when I arrived. The person doing my shock wave therapy on my backseemed overuse and asked me question but dud not wait for ne to finish finish. As soon as I mentioned my knees hurt , he quickly put heat and a tens machine . It was supposed to be 20 minutes but he came back and said 4 more minutes which became 10 mins. He was popping in and out or room like a yo-yo. He did not explain the therapy nor its after effects. When I was finally finished, he said to the desk clerk... book her for chiropractor, acupuncture and massage therapy. He never heard why i was there and what my symptoms were. He did not discuss with me. The desk clerk was trying to book all these appointments was changing her mind on date and time. I ended up canceling all the massage treatment since I have a monthly massage already. The chiropractor's intake assessment was thorough and she listened and did testing. I was happy with her. They validate your parking..... but i had to ask for it as it noticed other people handing the ticket to desk clerk.”Read moreShow less

“I visited Whitby’s Physiotherapy and Rehab Clinic for a one-hour physiotherapy assessment. I arrived at 5:00 p.m. and was seen at approximately 5:15 p.m. When I explained my symptoms, the physiotherapist briefly stated what he thought the issue might be, and that was essentially the extent of the assessment. Treatment began almost immediately by connecting me to a therapy device. Throughout the appointment, the physiotherapist repeatedly entered and left the room, making minor adjustments to the machine before leaving again. Whenever I tried to ask questions, he would often be on his way out, saying, “I’ll be right back,” before I had a chance to finish. There was very little direct interaction or discussion about my condition, treatment plan, or expected outcomes. In total, I estimate that I received no more than 10 minutes of direct attention from the physiotherapist, yet I was billed for a full one-hour assessment. When I raised my concerns at reception, I was told that the physiotherapist was “running behind.” While I understand that delays can happen, that explanation does not justify charging for a full assessment when only a fraction of that time was spent providing direct care. What made the experience even more disappointing was that it did not reflect the clinic’s own stated commitment on its website to “excellence and personalized care.” My experience felt neither personalized nor attentive. I was left feeling that the billing did not accurately reflect the service provided. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this clinic.”Read moreShow less
