I was at the Scarborough v Brampton basketball game. During this game a fight erupted on the court just before half-time. This gave me the opportunity to see that this was a very well run event. Security are not in your face, or blocking your view, but when they were needed they were very quick to respond. As a security professional I commend the organizers of this event. Good job 👍🏽 As a venue it is not posh, and there were no luxuries that I saw, but as a sports arena it creates a great atmosphere, and it provides a great environment for your personal memories. The OVO music throughout the event and at the after-party was much appreciated by me, because it is the soundtrack of my life, and for my son. Despite the differences between Scarborough and Brampton on the court, the music by Drake is something we all have in common. When music can unite us more than politics can divide us we know we are in the right place, and we feel at home. I would love to go back here.

Today I visited this place and was impressed to see that it's a Canada's Fastest Pool! It was packed and that may be as lots of kids activities were happening due to summer holidays at schools. Tim Horton was closed due to renovations. Parking was very crowded due to the above stated reason. Would definitely visit it after the schools open!

Great facility. Lots of parking but if there's multiple events, good luck. You'll need to get in early or be okay to wait and stalk someone for their parking spots. University campus parking is near-ish and can cost you $$$. About a 15 min walk. Facility itself is great. Tim's and Booster Juice inside for drinks and snacks. Don't remember ever seeing the restaurant beside Tim's open any time I've been there. Plenty of seating inside the pool area. Washrooms are clean. Lots of benches outside. Nothing much in the area walking distance except the gas station and small plaza. Pool viewing area gets hot so bring your shorts, t shirt and sandals.

The men's change room is disgusting, smells of urine. Gym staff are unhelpful, dont enforce any policies like putting away equipment or cleaning after you use something. Most people are sitting on the equipment scrolling on social media taking up space. The price is for a premium gym but you can have a better experience at fit4less.

Came here today for Doors Open Toronto. First time I came down to the University of Toronto Scarborough since the 2015 Pan American and Parapan American Games, back when I was studying in a master's program in Exercise Sciences and my former professor Bruce Kidd was president of the UTSC campus. Good to see a positive community legacy of major sporting events.

A great community sports facility that once hosted the Pan Am Games and now serves as a top-quality sports center for the public. The venue is spacious and well maintained, featuring large swimming pools, indoor basketball courts, and fitness areas suitable for all levels. It’s a solid choice for individuals or families who plan to visit regularly. One thing to note is that the parking area is still under construction, so the temporary lot can feel a bit messy and crowded, especially on weekends.

Love the Pan Am Sports Centre! It’s super clean, spacious, and I always enjoy my time there. The only downside is that parking can be hard to find on weekends

Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre is an impressive facility and a major asset to Scarborough. As a legacy venue from the 2015 Pan Am and Parapan Am Games, it has real value and history in the community. It is much more than a regular recreation centre, with excellent aquatics facilities, a fitness centre, gymnasiums, a 200 metre indoor track, a climbing wall, a field house, and a wide range of programs and classes. The facility itself has a lot to offer and should provide a great experience for the community. Unfortunately, the staff experience has been consistently disappointing. On more than one occasion, staff came across as rude, dismissive, and condescending. Instead of feeling welcomed, I often felt put off, and that has made me reluctant to return even though the facility is within walking distance for me. Parking is also a concern. While there is a fair amount of parking, it still often does not feel sufficient in practice, especially with nearby construction and reduced parking availability. I also left several voicemail messages in the past asking for basic information, including whether there were any options or discounts for UTSC alumni, and not one call was returned. That left a very poor impression. One more issue is the pool temperature. It often feels colder than many other city pools, and I have heard the same concern from others as well. This is a world class facility with real importance to the Scarborough community. It deserves staff service that matches the quality, history, and reputation of the building.

It’s been a year since we started coming to the Pan Am Centre in Scarborough, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best facilities around! The pools are always clean, the changing rooms are spotless, and everything is so well maintained. There’s so much to do here — swimming, running, the gym, even climbing! It’s a place where everyone in the family can find something they enjoy. The staff are friendly and professional, and the whole atmosphere just feels positive and full of energy. You can tell how much care goes into keeping this place organized and welcoming. We’ve also discovered so many great clubs and programs along the way. Truly a gem in Scarborough — we love it here!

Pan Am is a fantastic venue with world class training facilities. Their gym is extensive, basketball and volleyball courts are great with an excellent scoreboard available to use. A true athlete's facility.
