This has had a very positive impact in school, with friends, and the most important he feels successful ! “Alison is the absolute best SLP, and we are forever grateful to have had the privilege of working with her. Her level of expertise working with GLP Autistic girls is phenomenal, and she keeps up with new information and professional development to ensure her approach is consistently being refined. I am not exaggerating when I credit Alison for being the reason my daughter is verbal. We started working with Alison when my previously very verbal Autistic daughter had a massive regression, and we were worried she would lose the ability to speak. After working with Alison for about 18 months, the transformation of my daughter's language is absolutely remarkable. There are no words to express the level of gratitude I have for Alison. She is the best of the best at what she does, and her expertise and relaxed approach is the reason my daughter will be able to verbally express herself in her life. Alison is just fantastic at her job, she is so warm and friendly, and ensures the child has autonomy in the play-based sessions. She keeps things fun, while also being very intentional about the session. My daughter would count down the sleeps until each session with Alison, and always loved seeing her.
