I sought services from this clinic as I had heard positive reviews about it. Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. I spent hundreds of dollars; however, the level of care I received was far below what would be expected from any health care clinic, but especially from a private clinic. The naturopath of the clinic, who is also the owner, was quite defensive when I expressed my concerns about the level of care I was receiving, dismissive of my concerns and there was no follow up. For example, I spent several hundred dollars to have private blood testing. When the results came back, I was told they were unreadable and I was sent to a regular lab. Despite having followed the directions that I had been given exactly to collect the blood sample, I was told by the naturopath ( owner) I must have done it wrong. There were many other examples of poor patient care that I experienced but the most concerning was lack of follow up over a medical issue that I was experiencing. To make a long story short, I had an ultrasound at the end of October. I waited several weeks and then reached out to the clinic to ask about the results. I was told that it takes several weeks for the doctor to get the results, even though I could see that the report was in my NB health records. I waited for weeks and never heard back. I finally met with my family physician who reviewed my results and immediately referred me to a specialist. I emailed WellNurture at the end of the January, as I had not heard back from them regarding my results , even though they had sent out a requisition and invoice for blood testing. At that time, I told them I would no longer be using their services. It is now the end of April and there has never been any follow up or acknowledgement of my last email. It is quite disappointing that the level of care I received from the public system was far superior to that of a private clinic. Unfortunately, because naturopaths are not a regulated healthcare profession there is no place to launch a formal complaint. I would definitely not recommend this clinic. as in my experience they care only about making money,

I had higher hopes. Heather was amazing- however- I was told I’d need hormone testing- sent via mail. It was paid for immediately, at $250, and was to be shipped within three days. (As per the paragraph on the statement) Three weeks later I messaged as the test kit still did not arrive. (I need to test day 19-21- and coming to that window. I was told i could come get it- (I’m in Saint John- and work) So, I suggested expediting it- after all, they neglected to mail it- I was told I would have to pay $20 for this service. Service that I paid for, that was not rendered. I asked for the contact information of the clinic owner as I felt they may like to know they lost thousands over $20. No response.

I’ve been fighting for help and HRT for years and finally bit the bullet and booked here for ‘specialized’ treatment. $250 just to book the appointment. $275 for a 20 min call with a doctor. I didn’t feel she listened and cast aside all my symptoms. Prescribed progesterone and blood work. Paid for that too (not covered) and then they did nothing with that information. I asked for a follow up and still nothing. It’s frustrating that I was actually treated worse from this private clinic than I did using public resources. Save your money, that’s all they’re looking to gain here. If they actually cared for their patients they’d follow up with them.

HRT can be daunting. Because we are all unique with our own set of variables, HRT is not one size fits all. Those variables mean that each of WellNurture's excellent doctors must find the best and most effective treatment protocol for each individual and it is a process. Louella is always there, taking care of her clinic's patients. A resource person providing clarification of anything that you can't exactly remember from your doctor's appointment, answering the questions that you forgot to ask during that appointment and giving instructions about how to use the prescribed treatments. She does it all with patience, warmth and expertise. Louella is a very reassuring presence and makes "nurture" way more than just part of the name!

After nearly two years of struggling with menopause-related symptoms—poor sleep, hot flashes, muscle aches, weight gain, and mood swings—I finally decided in August 2024 that it was time to take control of my health. That’s when I reached out to WellNurtureMD, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I initially chose WellNurtureMD because their website clearly outlined the treatment process and associated costs, giving me full transparency on what to expect. Additionally, knowing that many of their practitioners are members of the North American Menopause Society reassured me that I would be in the hands of experts in hormonal health. Since beginning my journey with Dr. Melissa Chiasson, I have been beyond thrilled with her care and expertise. While working with a private clinic does involve additional fees and requires some patience for testing and consultations, the results have been absolutely worth it. Thanks to WellNurtureMD, I started hormone replacement therapy (HRT) in September 2024, and I can confidently say it has been life-changing. I tell everyone who will listen about the incredible benefits of HRT, and I always recommend WellNurtureMD in the same breath. Since starting treatment, I feel like a completely different person. I’ve also lost 30 pounds (and counting!), thanks in part to the invaluable guidance of Registered Dietitian Nicole Bourgeois, who is part of the WellNurtureMD team and has also been instrumental in my health journey. I truly cannot say enough about my positive experience with WellNurtureMD, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone seeking expert care in women’s hormonal health.

5 STAR! It took me a long time to actually commit to making an appointment and I regret not having gone sooner! The whole process from the initial consult to the beginning treatment was well paced and I appreciated that! It allowed me time to budget for the appointments and was a nice seamless way from one stage to another. The blood spot test was easy to do and the dedication the clinic puts into ensuring you have everything you need to the clarity of the directions and even videos to support if you needed them. I loved knowing that these are medical doctors with specialized training in hormones and that the prescriptions are tailored exactly to what your body needs! So all of that to say I feel AMAZING! I am sleeping so well now I had to get a new bite plate from my dentist, the brain fog has been lifted and I’m not feeling like I’m walking around in a haze 24/7. What I notice the most is that my emotions are not all over the place throughout the month and I finally feel regulated. I feel a HUGE sense of calm. This in itself has been worth every single cent! My periods are shorter and easy to predict! I have more energy! If you’re thinking about making an appointment then run, don’t walk! A friend told me I didn’t have to feel the way I felt and I went because of her persistence and encouragement. Once you get your results you can choose to meet the doctor virtually or in person. I chose to drive 1.5 hours to go in person and I highly recommend in-person! You get to meet and get to know the medical doctor, you get a training from the clinic of your prescriptions and you get to visit the pharmacy and take your prescriptions home with you that day. Everyone is so sweet and professional. You can tell that they love what they do and are passionate about it! Lastly, don’t assume it is all out of pocket. I am fortunate and my health plan does cover my prescriptions and also covered a couple of appointments. It is worth investigating! And even if I didn’t have coverage I can assure you I’ve tried quick fixes in the past that were more money so do your due diligence - ditch the marketed gimmicks “promising to help your hormones” - they don’t work. Redistribute your money and spend it right - with the medical experts! Make that appointment! Your hormonal body will thank you! Trust me! 🥰

I paid for services out of pocket that were well over $1000. I received hormone testing and then follow up that went nowhere. The treatment plan included waiting on tests that could only be accessed through the NB medical system, which is the whole reason I went to this clinic. At no point was I told that this would be the case, not until after I had paid all the money. I’ve now been waiting for over a year to receive the tests I need to supposedly continue with treatment. Something I question since the hormone tests will be well over a year old by the time they come up with a treatment plan. In this last year, I have called and left messages about the delayed testing, the treatment plan and necessity for me to do something, but have been unable to speak with anyone and have not had any phone calls back. I absolutely do not recommend their services. Happy to take your money and provide no benefit for it.

I’ve been a client with Wellnurture for the last 8 years. It has been a life changer. The treatment is well monitored and the ability to communicate with Louella and the team of doctors has been a very positive experience. Can’t say enough good things about the center, we are very fortunate to have this service in Moncton. There are fees but considering the impact of the treatment on the quality of life, it’s worth every penny and the hormones are mostly covered by insurance. Very grateful for Louella and the entire team at Wellnurture.

I've been a patient at Well Nurture for 10 yrs. I started my journey here when I retired, after dealing with very low energy and lots of post menopausal issues following a complete hysterectomy. They gave me hope and I learned how much our hormonal health effects our overall health. Although it's been a process, they've never given up on me. I wish I had of discovered them earlier and may have avoided many serious health issues I endured after an endometriosis diagnosis. I now have more energy, sleep better and therefore have a much better quality of life. They are a listening, caring, helpful, experienced team of professionals who I recommend highly. The pharmacy, being in the same building, is very convenient and they work very cooperatively together. Thank you Well Nurture team!

I have been going to Wellnurture for almost 5 years now and they have been simply wonderful!! They are always available for advice when I need it. Their knowledge and compassion and understanding of hormones is unparalleled! Yes, it was a little pricey at first as not all costs were covered by my insurance, but now that I have seen AMAZING results, it was SOOOO worth it! I can't even believe now how horrible I felt before consulting them! I recommend them any chance I get. Thank you ladies for your dedication!
