I highly recommend Alison and her team! Alison is a highly skilled, warm, empathic and attuned therapist who accompanies her clients through the depths of their experiences with care and safety. Having her team as a referral source has left me feeling at-ease knowing folks are in reliable and capable hands!

I often refer people to Watermark Counselling for couples work, parent counselling, family support, and low-cost counselling through their internship program. They have created an amazing counselling resource for the community with their array of counselling and social work supports including an excellent low-cost counselling program. I personally have consulted with Alison and benefited from our conversations together.

Alison is a talented professional. She is empathetic, warm and understanding. She understands the importance of the therapeutic relationship and takes time to fully understand the needs of her clients and how to best address their difficulties. We often refer to Watermark Counselling and have heard nothing but incredible things.

As a colleague of Mark for the past 6 years I am confident recommending him as a therapist. If you are looking to make some changes in your life, not only does Mark have the empathy to truly understand your situation, but he also has the skills to help find your preferred future. His kind, honest and authentic approach is sure to be a good fit for those who are looking to engage in therapy.

I wouldn’t recommend Mark as a counsellor for anyone experiencing anxiety or stress. The session costed me $150 for one hour and the advice i was given was pretty much just to exercise more and to be grateful for what i had. Yes I do have it better than others but my mental health was at an all time low (constantly anxious, racing thoughts, low self esteem, depressions). I feel like he didn’t really listen or understand the issues I was facing - it was like talking to a wall for an hour. He didn’t seem empathetic and to be honest I don’t think he really understands what people with anxiety go through. For those reasons I wouldn’t recommend him for anyone as a counsellor.
