“Jayme the massage therapist was amazing! She helped my shoulder when I came In short notice and explained my pain. Unfortunately I'm giving a 3 star because I felt like Dr Shook barely gave me the time of day. I was only in Nanaimo for a short period to visit family and maybe because he knew I may not return he didn't feel like it was worth his time. I came in with a lot of discomfort and pain and I feel like he just did a fast adjustment without giving me time to relax or check exactly what was going on. After he adjusted me and I said it didn't feel any better he yet again did another quick body slam before sending me on my way. After a few days I contacted them again and told them it wasn't any better. Thankfully the receptionist got me in to see Jayme who worked wonders! Maybe my issue was more soft tissue related than skeletal but I would have appreciated him taking a little more time to assess what was going on, especially during an initial consult. Otherwise the clinic is very clean and nice and they got me in to see someone very quick.”

“Highly Recommended! I cannot thank Dr. Shook and the team at Atlas Clinic enough. After a shoulder injury from an accident, I tried multiple treatments with zero relief. Everything changed when I tried Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) here.The results are amazing. “I am 76 and I have received chiropractic adjustments since my early 30s. I have seen chronic pain specialists and tried medications Chiropractic is the only treatment that really works for my back ,lower back ,legs and knee pain .I want to add that I lived in many provinces and I affirm that Dr. White is the very best and and updated doctor that have seen. “Dr. Shook listen to why I came for a visit. He talk to me about the treatment and showed me a picture on the computer to explain. He gave me a complete body adjustment taking each section and talking about it as he went. I would rate is treatment 1 out of 10 a 10. He gives excellent care.”
