“very dissapointed with the service there, bought new glasses and went twice to get them fitted and that was awaste of time, so I went to Pearle vision and within ten minutes they had my glasses fitted, I am very happy with their service”

“I purchased glasses from Vogue Optical in Truro, NS, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Over the course of a year, I had ongoing issues with the lenses not aligning properly with both eyes at the same time. Despite multiple visits, the problem was never fully resolved, which caused significant discomfort and frustration. I also found the customer service lacking. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously or handled professionally. Given the high prices, I expected a much higher standard of service and technical expertise. Due to the unresolved issues and overall experience, I would not return or recommend Vogue Optical to anyone .”Read moreShow less

“We arrived from Ontario with the arm broken on hubby’s driving glasses. Without question the employee stepped in and fixed this dilemma for us, with total goodwill. We deeply appreciated this kindness and felt this Co., well represented the Truro and district business community !”Read moreShow less

“I will begin by saying that Reid Optometry next door is excellent and this is not a reflection of their services. However, I am highly disappointed with Vogue Optical. I went in a few days ago asking to get lenses switched out on frames that were purchased online for an updated prescription, and was told that it’s “against the conduct of the college of opticians” to replace lenses on frames that were purchased online. I was surprised, as I’ve never had this issue in the past with other opticians, and I have been buying frames online for over 10 years. Wanting to know if this was in fact true, I contacted the NS College of Opticians. I have attached their response to this review. I understand that certain stores may not want to work on frames that were not purchased in-house, but I would have appreciated the truth from the retail associate much more than to be told a lie. I was also planning on buying contact lenses from Vogue, but out of principle from this interaction I will not be returning to this store. Another store in town has already offered to switch out my lenses with no issues. Disappointing experience.”Read moreShow less

“My husband and I had our eyes tested recently, when we got there a pre test as we were told was needed before we would have our eyes tested. We both saw Dr Travis Robertson and found him to be excellent in the testing and explaining the process. When we were finished we went to the desk to get our eye prescriptions only to be told that we had to pay 50.00 each for one of the pre test. In our past experience we have never had to paid for anything extras and nothing was different in this pre test as from our previous experience in other facilities. We were not informed of this at all, we felt that this was a scam, not revealing the extra cost to us beforehand. The lady behind the desk was extremely rude, I tried explained that a customer should be told the extra cost before any pre test is done. You need to give them the option of saying NO….not scam them. We were extremely upset and felt taken. I also wonder if they charged us the fee did they charge MSI also.”Read moreShow less

“Bought 2 pairs of glasses for $400. After 2 weeks I told them they were too heavy to wear comfortably and their answer was for me to spend another $150 to get the lenses shaved down. I previously was buying $80 glasses from an online retailer and had better results, comfort and customer service. I won't bother to go to Vogue again.”Read moreShow less
