“I was influenced by all the good reviews this place has, and didn't want to go back to Costco for my exam, so I went to ask some questions in person and the front staff was very helpful and actually knew what PWD was for my coverage! Some places don't, and refuse to help you, insurance wise. I got an appointment, and I like how the vibe is laid back neighborly but with high quality care. Dr Johal did tests I'd never had before, even at other optometry offices which I thought was pretty cool. He's kind, calm and thorough from my initial impression. So I'd definitely recommend trying here! I also appreciate not being pushed to buy frames. Which has kind of fallen out of style as a method for sales, but I have been put off by other places in the past, so it's always a point in favour when that's not the case. “Today 1 April 2025, 11.30 am went for comprehensive check up and prescription for new glass. As I am senior 73, he did this test all covered by MSP coverage limit. I didn't pay from pocket. Others have different way of charging extra, apart from claim from MSP paying limit coverage. “My aunt and I went in and had our vision checked. We were incredibly impressed. We both couldn't believe how thorough and comprehensive our examinations were. We've been for eye exams in the past, but all the other places pale in comparison, once you've been here. The staff were friendly and welcoming, while also being extremely professional.
