“While in Whistler for the May long weekend, we wanted to keep this as a relaxing getaway and set up spa appointments for myself, my wife and my older teen. I had a classic facial, my wife had the reflexology, and my daughter a simple Swedish massage. We all loved our treatments and came out feeling really relaxed. We were not staying at the hotel, but made our way from the Upper Village to partake. Definitely recommended. I called to make reservations about a month prior, but would have liked some sort of email confirmation. “My first visit to the Vida Spa at Fairmont Whistler this week. I received an excellent 90 min muscle relaxing massage by Adrian. Adrian provided the perfect pressure by checking in with me, and had very effective massage techniques. Adrian, and the rest of the staff were very polite and professional. “This conference room setup feels a bit outdated. There’s a shared waiting area with no separation—everyone waits together on an old 1980s-style couch before going in. It works functionally, but the seating could definitely use an upgrade to be more comfortable and modern. In response to the owner… The spa experience fell short of expectations, especially given the pricing. Upon check-in, guests are directed to sit on a large couch in a waiting area that is fully visible to anyone passing by. There are no private or semi-private relaxation spaces, which is surprising compared to most hotel spas that offer gender-separated lounges for comfort and privacy. Additionally, the locker rooms are located across the hallway near the main pool rather than being connected to the spa. These locker rooms also lack any lounge or relaxation area. Because of this setup, hotel guests are advised to arrive at the spa already wearing a robe, which feels inconvenient and unusual. Overall, the environment and amenities do not match the cost of the services, making the experience feel underwhelming.”Read moreShow less

“I had the absolute best massage at Vida Spa in Whistler. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calm and inviting, instantly putting me at ease. My therapist was incredibly skilled, and I honestly passed out during the massage; it was that relaxing. Every detail, from the soothing music to the perfectly warm room, added to the experience. I left feeling completely rejuvenated, both physically and mentally. I only wished it had lasted longer!
