This was our first visit and still trying to navigate what services that may be of assistance for us. We had a warm welcome at the reception. I went in for family protection concerns and they have a lawyer that gives general guidance. I also met with an intake worker to inquire about services and found out about their health services. I am still hoping to find some cultural events and making classes. All staff treated us well. They also provided fresh fruit and refreshments which was very welcome afte making the journey over from the gulf islands. Blessings.

Such an amazing, welcoming facility with the best staff and volunteers! A safe place to be your self and meet new friends. Truly enjoying the language class they provide. Thank you VNFC so much!

Did not met my needs. Was profiled and judged. Healing was kept from me over a white German woman who had nothing to do with the 60's scoop trauma or being adopted out. Shona took favorites. Denied me my right to heal. Would not recommend to any Indigenous person with a mental illness. You will be judged. Ine of their worker was my sponsor. All she did was gossip and judge me with her friends.

Meeting friends there for the free much is so cool. I've gotten to know the volunteers and honour their commitment. Thank-you Nr Rice for the invitation

They would rather you go online than deal with them in person, their departments don't speak with eachother and information is miscommunicated from one room to another. Their receptionists are nice but as said before the information in the place is not communicated and the departments tell you one thing and the others tell you another. Never getting the full information and the help during the process was being told to figure it out online or come back next week cause they don't have time to help. Noted that abandonment is a common trope as I can read how many reviews point that out. Left to the wolves as you would say.

I called wanting to talk to the clinic. Called the VNFC line hoping to get transferred or get the number from them. They answered with its on our website under primary care and then hung up. What if I had more questions? Why couldn't they offer the clinic's number. Just rude people at the front desk who don't know what they are doing. Who answer the phones not very nice or friendly. I think their staff need more training or better people skills. Act accordingly professionalism is a must in front desk jobs.Guess they don't care about their jobs.

I love this place! They have bi weekly massage and acupuncture, but you can alternate weeks. Many different programs going on. I enjoy beading night. They need help with making crafts to sell for fundraising, and or capital donations. Wish a bus went by there so getting there with mobility issues was not so difficult. Many resources to assist people, and even have food hampers to help get you by. If you're struggling or want to try something new or want to help out give them a try.
