“The staff go out of their way to help residents and take care of them. They're generous with their time, and patient too. They understand the residents' needs. The building also was recently renovated. The hallways and rooms are bright. The building is nestled nest to a ravine, so it's quiet, but it's close to a mall and transit.”Read moreShow less

“We have only just moved in, but the staff and fellow residents here have been amazing. Amy is a rockstar! We visited a few places which were all really nice, but Leaside really stood out for us in terms of the environment, the staff and pricing - which seemed very reasonable to me. My father really seems to like it here. Maggie (his cat) will take a bit longer to adjust but things are looking up!”Read moreShow less

“I was very unsure about my decision to move to Leaside. However, once I settled in, it is the best decision I could have made. I am very busy with new friends, I join in in all the activities. “Ahhh, Venvi Leaside Retirement Centre; how do I enjoy thee? Let me count some of the ways. There is the newly renovated lobby and dinning area found in building 10. Then there are the many activities and opportunities to engage the active lifestyle philosophy as practised here to keep residents young in spirit and healthy in body. “The location is picturesque and quiet. It overlooks Sunnybrook Park and is very colourful and beautiful at this time of year. The residents are very nice and live well with each other. No drama! The dining is superb due to the Chef (whose family just introduced beautiful twin baby girls to their family). The staff are very friendly and accommodating in all areas. A large library, games room, full Kraft Kitchen, hair dresser, a theatre room and Physiotherapy Room are on the premises. Also excellent nursing care is on site! The nursing staff also ensures that every resident is accounted for, each and every meal, and will follow up to confirm all residents are well. I am very secure and happy living here. Pets are welcome here and my little dog makes my life very enjoyable. The Management is top quality from top to bottom. Venvi Leaside is a wonderful place to spend my remaining years!!”Read moreShow less
