“PSA: Treatments covered by insurance need a prescription to be properly covered! Instead of emailing me in the several days between booking and appointment time to let me know this, it was the first thing out of their mouths when I arrived. I would have been able to avoid the cancellation fee if notified immediately, but leaving it until the moment of felt intentional. I understand these policies are out of the hands of the staff, but communication could have saved me the money and the embarrassment of showing up just to pay to leave.”

“Urban massage therapy is located on the corner of Westminster Avenue and Ruby Street in the beautiful Wolsely area of Winnipeg. Came here I’ll see years ago because I had pulled the muscle in my lower back and found it very difficult to walk even a short distance, the massage therapist did an excellent job at helping me with this issue and I was back on my feet in no time. Free street parking is available and they are open in the evenings as well. Great place overall!”

My appointment was on time and Christian was very professional and thorough with the massage. He definitely knew what he was doing and always made sure by asking, if the pressure was okay. “All of the staff I have met at Urban Massage Therapy are friendly and professional. I have met with several Massage Therapists there and have had very good experiences! I enjoy deep-pressure Massage and usually see Kendra or Lori - they are both wonderful. It's easier to relax when you trust the people caring for you. I also once had an issue with my insurance and Jenn was very patient and kind while helping me get everything straightened out. Great team!!”
