“I underwent a a Total Reverse Right Shoulder Replacement on December 12th. After losing my sling and the staples removed, I started my physio in January with Joel Buckler of University Physio, Spring Garden Road. I could not ask for a better physio program. After the initial assessment, Joel set up a program for me where I visited them 2x per week, he is extremely patient and knowledgeable and would rein in "My Over-Achiever attitude in order for me to have a smoother recovery period, sending me home with pictures and instructions for the exercises I should do each day at home; however, being me I did them at twice per day. May 24th I graduated and Joel left me with about 11 different exercises to strength the muscles myself. I would highly recommend this business to anyone having problems, the staff are fabulous, pleasant, professional reminding clients of their appointments via email and notifying when storms would close the office in winter. I would recommend Joel and University Physio for your physio requirements.”Read moreShow less

“Mr. O'Neill is a very professional and wonderful therapist. He is very patient and has a lot of attention to detail. One of the things that helped me the most was the dry needling therapy. I suffered neck pain for over 20 years and after just few dry needling session the pain was completely gone. I highly recommend University Physiotherapy and particularly Mr. O'Neill.”Read moreShow less

“I visited University Physiotherapy for neck, knee, and hand pain, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received from Mr. O'Neill. He is highly knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He provided a simple yet effective series of exercises to do at home, while in-office, he used a combination of adjustments and dry needling. His approach is both competent and transparent, setting realistic goals and being honest about the progress being made. Overall, his diagnosis and follow-up treatments are spot-on. I personally made significant improvement in just a few weeks under his care. Additionally, the clinic has a flexible schedule with good availability, which made it easy to fit appointments into my routine. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, and the clinic’s convenient downtown location, with free parking, is a big plus. Highly recommend!”Read moreShow less

He's knowledgeable, personable, and immediately helped me feel at ease. He took the time to patiently answer my questions, and helped me get back on the road to pain-free movement. The front-desk staff are welcoming and helpful too. The whole experience could not have been better!”Read moreShow less

“I was a patient of Joel Buckler at University Physiotherapy following total replacements for both of my knees. I am impressed with the knowledge and skill of Mr. Buckler, who worked me through graduated series of therapies in the clinic and at home over many months that led to excellent outcomes both times. On occasion I also was treated by Jon O’ Neill, who is a very knowledgeable physiotherapist as well. The administrative staff at University Physiotherapy were helpful, friendly, and professional. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking physiotherapy for a variety of injuries or rehabilitation following surgery.”Read moreShow less
