“my endocrinologist sent me here to learn about the different kind of insulin pumps so he can request one. Nurse Daphne told me I can just google it and that there is no insulin pump that automatically administered insulin. Overall superior attitude. Will keep you waiting it you are on time and she’s doing nothing. I later learned through the brochures she gave me that Medtronic automatically adjusts and corrects glucose levels every 5 minutes”

“Very rude and condescending Dieticians that think they knows everything and talks down to the clients. Especially the dietician named Keri. What a Karen. I regret not walking out of there. More helpful to watch diabetes care videos on YouTube. Videos made by MotivationalDoc & SugarMd. 6th floor of Tall office building in Newport Village. Between going to this place & the diabetes, I will take my chances with the Diabetes. Lol”

“Worse clinic in the entire planet! Avoid at all cost. Like others have said. They talk down to clients and have no clue what the hospital had prescribed my dad and also accusing doctor from eagle ridge that they’ve made a mistake. Overall incompetent doctors in this clinic. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!”

“Such rude and unprofessional staffs! I’ve never had such bad experiences with anyone when I wanted to reschedule an appointment! I am booking an appointment for my father who doesn’t know English and the response was they do not need to accommodate my schedule given that I am not their patient. I asked them to put his name on the cancellation list as the next available appointment was in 4 months and their response was we can’t cancel someone else’s appointment for you! They don’t even know what a cancellation list is and when I tried to explain, they hung up on me. I called again and asked to talk to the supervisor and they hung up again!”

“Front desk lady is not very nice, I called around 8am to confirm an appointment time for that day since they had left a voicemail at the wrong number. Took me 3 calls to get through to them, first thing she says to me is I should had left a voicemail then I had to reiterate the appointment was that day. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it because it was already an hour away so I told her so and she didn’t try to come up with any solution besides telling me that they are only booking in September and if I were to rebook if I “no showed” again then the file would be closed. Okay girl you have a fantastic day.”

“Called this morning to ask where I could buy an insulin pouch for a type 1 diabetic. Was refused the information without a referral from the doctor. Let me stress that I wasn't seeking medical advice, I wanted to know where I could buy an insulin pouch, locally. The lady flat out refused to provide the information, because, she said, she didn't know the exact needs of the patient. When I explained to her that we live in a crazy world where we refuse to help a dying man next to us because we want to cover our backs, I was told to take someone who is dying to the emergency room. I really don't know how I can express my puzzlement over this situation, and I hope we, as a society, somehow regain our common sense and help our fellow human, without the necessity of a referral from their doctor.”
