We had an absolutely outstanding experience at Treadwell. The food was absolutely amazing. Extremely flavorful, stunningly paired, and the presentation was fantastic. On top of that, our server Briar, was great as well. Full of personality, very attentive, and great with recommendations. We were there this past Sunday during the unbelievable rain storm but that didn't take away from our experience or enjoyment! The staff handled the weather like pros. Can't wait to go back soon!

Stumbled across Treadwell last Saturday evening while passing through St. Catharines and honestly it might be the best spontaneous dinner stop I've made all year. The roasted beet salad with whipped goat cheese was simple on paper but executed with the kind of precision you usually only find in bigger city restaurants. Service was warm without being hovery, which as someone who eats out constantly, I genuinely appreciate. Solid wine list, great room, and I'll absolutely be timing my next Niagara visit around a return trip here.

My husband and I decided to eat at this restaurant by chance. We were seated on the patio cause there were no more tables available inside. It happened to be 35 degrees and we were all in a heat coma, especially my 5 years old daughter. The food was good and fresh, however the service provided by Briar was top notch. She was very attentive, personable, and had integrity. She even gave my daughter a small table fan to help cool her off and kept her entertained every time she came to our table. Thank you for making our lunch experience much better despite the heat!

This spot is an absolute weekend brunch jackpot! The food is delicious. I highly recommend the fluffy pancakes, which were the absolute highlight of brunch. What really sets this place apart, though, is the setup. The patio is fully covered, so you are completely protected from the direct sun (or a sudden rain shower), making it incredibly comfortable. Plus, patio dining is dog-friendly, which is a massive win if you love bringing your pup along. The service was incredibly fast, the atmosphere had great vibes, and the whole experience was seamless. Will definitely be back - highly recommend!

Exquisite farm-to-table experience from start to finish. We indulged in the 3 course prefix menu with wine pairing. The staff were incredibly engaging, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating to our preferences, allergies, and needs. Our sommelier selected the perfect wines for our simple, yet powerful, dishes. Every bite was handcrafted with care, intention, and skill—the unique combinations of fresh meats, fish, vegetables and herbs was truly spectacular. As a petite woman I left feeling completely satisfied but not uncomfortable. A true testament of excellent, high-quality dining.

I am so mad that I haven’t tried this place sooner!!!! I visit Niagara on the lake often. And this place has been on my list of places to try for a while. I wish I tried it sooner because it was so darn good. We went for Mother’s Day brunch, and I had the muscles as an appetizer. The truffle omelet as my main and then the ginger molasses cake as my dessert. The muscles were ridiculously plump and tasty. I have a sensitivity to dairy and the server was so kind about switching the cream that is normally in the muscles for white wine instead. The truffle omelette. What a decadent way to have an omelette. It was so delicious exactly what I wanted. The cake was also amazing. I have no flaws here. The server was a young man who was incredibly friendly pleasant to have conversations with and even helped bringing our dog a bowl of water, considering we are sitting on the patio with our dog. We had our children with us as well, and the menu was not set to have a kid specific option, but they managed to accommodate having a serving of pancakes just for the kids because there was no way they could do the full three courses. The kids had the blueberry pancakes. I tried their pancakes. Best pancakes I’ve had in years. We will 100% be back here. I think this is my new favourite restaurant in Niagara on the lake. My only critique would be the latte. It was so small. I ended up ordering two.

I came to Treadwell Cuisine with my grandmother for Mother’s Day Brunch, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We were seated in the basement, upsold as the “Private Dining Room.” While other guests were brought upstairs, no such option was offered to us. The basement tables appeared to be standard white folding tables, the kind you would see at outdoor markets. They were covered with white tablecloths to create more of a “fine dining” feel. The room was also far too warm, with the occasional gnat flying around. I left feeling shortchanged, especially given that guests seated in the much nicer patio and main dining room would be paying the same fixed rate. In fairness, two of the three courses were good enough, but my dessert felt inedible. This experience did not match the price point. You would be far better off having a meal at one of the local wineries - I’d personally recommend Kitchen76. While our actual server seemed nice, the rest of the service is not what you would typically expect from a restaurant at this level in Ontario. My grandmother uses a cane and we were taken to the basement by elevator. When we entered, the lights in the elevator were off and the doors would not close. The host who brought us down did not engage with us at all. When I said, “Oh, I didn’t realize you had a basement,” there was no response. She also walked quite quickly and my grandmother was noticeably trailing behind. As the restaurant must know, the elevator takes far longer than expected and creates an additional obstacle for guests with mobility issues. I do not like to complain about service, but when someone is paying a total of $120 per person, this is inadequate.

Delicious food amazing service loved every bit of everything. Highly recommended. One of the best sticky toffee pudding and scallops I have ever had. I have had sticky toffee pudding at Hell’s Kitchen Miami and Balthazar and other places as well - this one beats them all. Scallop was so amazing - I have had scallops all over the world of all sizes. Hands down best scallops I have ever had 😊 I was hesitating about the wine but oh my goodness what a wine 🍷 and I have wine tasted most of Niagra , Prince Edward county , northern Italy and tiny bit from France. What a wine they gave me - lovely

Food was great! Free parking along Johnson St. They have bar seating if you like to watch the chefs prep your food. A la cart for lunch, set 3 course meals only for dinner. The service was excellent. They were super attentive and knew the menu well. The food was delicious! We got a vegetarian ravioli with mushrooms and herb crusted lamb as our mains and I would definitely come back for it again. It was also the first time I had lemon-infused butter with bread and it was super refreshing. Wish I could’ve gotten more! The portions were large enough that we were stuffed to the max by the time we left.

I really wanted to like this place because the location is great. The outdoor patio is beautiful with a cute view, and the service was perfectly standard. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming and ultimately spoiled the experience. I ordered the steak and salmon; the steak was just okay (slightly on the salty side), but the salmon was way overcooked. The shrimp that came with it didn't taste very fresh, and my friend actually ended up with a stomach ache after the meal. I understand it's a tourist spot, but given the high price point and the poor food quality, it really isn't worth it.
