“We unfortunately booked a massage with Liia which was terrible. I made clear we did not want cupping upon booking and just really needed a massage as my partner and I are marathon training. We specified legs as a priority and our legs were almost not touched at all. We did not get anything remotely close to a massage. She pressed different areas for 5-10 minutes at a time, her nails constantly digging in and slipping on the skin scratching us. She then took a silicon cup which she roughly went over mine and my partners back over and over dropping it 4 times I might add during my session and leaving significant unnecessary bruising. None of which should come from a massage. Not to mention I stated in advance I had a torn ACL and she went behind the knees and poked her nails into there as well which has caused prolong pain in my partners legs ruining our training run 2 days later. Our legs are still insanely tight and now with the additional pains and bruising we cannot even go get a real massage. Upon complaint we were told the next time we took we would get an additional 30 minutes free after the hour we would pay for. Frankly we should not have paid for these as it was a horrible experience. I have been to countless RMTs and massage places and it has never been like this, I cannot believe not one part was actually massage or rubbed in any way and instead we were poked, scratched and bruised. To respond to the response: I had come MONTHS prior to the event in order to do cupping and made that clear when booking what I was looking for. I have never asked for an extension on any massage appointments actually the second time I was simply told "I know you like cupping so I will do it" again without the intention or me asking. In the ROOM I clearly said to Liia I wanted no cupping and a focus massage on the legs and again none of that was done or respected and I had already made that clear when booking over the phone. I was simply poked and scratched and significantly bruised. So if you are simply going to lie on your review responses there's literally no point of responding. Why ask in the room and why not listen when told multiple times tells me you do not care at all what anyone wants you just do whatever you think is appropriate. Pressing into various parts as some nonsensical hand acupuncture and additional rough cupping is NOT a part of an RMT massage. “This is one of the best place, accupunture, massage received for my Mother in law who was suffering lots of pain. Ms.Yvonne made miracle. It effected her routine, basic daily activities. Family Dr recommended to go Physio/Massage for mild arthritis and minor injury. She tried Tranquil clinic. After her second therapy session she was able to lift her arm. The staff focused best healing techniques, friendly service, genuine caring. We definitely visit as needed and recommend others' for better health and improve life. “My wife and I have been regular clients now for almost a year. Both Yvonne and Elaine are excellent in their profession and very well studied. On our first visit she double booked me (thanks to my name being similar to another client) but they more than made up for it in so many ways. Most recently, I took a day off mid week and called in on the day to see if they had a slot open but they were fully booked. Yvonne realized it was my birthday and called back making a slot available during her lunch break. I highly recommend Yvonne and Elaine more.
