I had back surgery about 10 years ago and have tried countless places to manage my pain. Honestly, there are very few places and even fewer people I would ever recommend. However, Christina at Touch Massage Bar located on King West in Toronto is easily one of the best people who has ever worked on my back. Full Stop. If you suffer from chronic pain, or just looking to loosen up your back I couldn't recommend her more. Thanks Christina!

I’ve been getting massages for years, and I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. It was my first time here one of my friends gifted this to me for my birthday and I’m so glad I came to try it. Amir was amazing. He really knows what he’s doing and paid great attention to my problem areas. I had a lot of tension and pain in my neck, but after just one session with him, I felt a huge sense of relief. My body feels so much more relaxed and comfortable now. One of the things I really love about this place is that you can come with your partner and enjoy a relaxing hour together, which is such a lovely option. If you’re looking to treat your partner, this is definitely one of the best choices in the city and in this area. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely love the vibe here. I've been a few times now and Chanel is the best. Booking a "Good for the Sole" session with her is like going to heaven for 50 mins. I have been on a plight to find an epic masseuse in the city for years now and my prayers have been answered. Don't think - just book with Chanel. You'll thank me later!

My experience a couple of weeks ago was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. To the point where I’m still irritated until now to write this review. I booked my appointment through their online system which showed multiple open time slots, so I assumed everything was confirmed. On the day of my appointment I got a call saying they had double booked the time and my appointment basically didn’t exist anymore. At that point I knew they were lying and I had already planned my day around it, so it was a huge waste of time. What made it worse was dealing with the manager, who had some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced at a spa. She was dismissive and acted like the mistake was no big deal. She offered to move my appointment to another time that was completely inconvenient for me and tried to give me a “free drink” to quiet me. Barely any accountability, no sincerity, just a very not our problem type of attitude. When I finally went in, the place looks nice but that’s honestly the only thing it has going for it. The massage itself was extremely average and definitely not worth the hype. I’ve had better massages at multiple places. I’ve also heard from friends that many of the original massage therapists have left, and based on my recent experience I’m not surprised. To make things worse, it’s ridiculously overpriced for what you get. Even after insurance I still paid way more than expected for a service that felt extremely rushed and mediocre. Between the “double booking”, rude and unhelpful management, inconsistent therapists, and the pricing, the whole thing felt like style over substance. I honestly debated whether I even wanted to write this review since my experience was awhile ago but it felt like they would rather quietly compensate me with something to make the situation go away instead of actually addressing the problem. If you’re looking for a place that relies more on aesthetics, social media, and hype than actually providing good customer service then come here to be treated as subhuman. I definitely won’t be coming back and will not be recommend it to anyone in the near future.

Seamless booking. The massage therapist (Chanel) was on point with the right amount of pressure. Would definitely love to be back.

I’m not sure where to start, but if you’re looking to book Touch Massage Bar for a special occasion, please think twice. After my own experience and reading other reviews, I’ve noticed there is a huge disconnect with admin, booking and coordination. I had arrived for my appointment (it was meant to be for my 30th birthday, where I had friends drive from Windsor and fly in from Bermuda) to celebrate with me at Touch Bar since I live in Toronto. Upon arriving on time for our appointments, Khadija the “manager” of the store greeted us with absolute disgust. You could tell the minute we walked in she was annoyed. Furthermore I had to greet her myself and was met with attitude, scoffing and as if we were a burden. There was even a moment she walked to the back within hearing distance, and started laughing with the staff about my group and I. She messed up the booking and said they can only accommodate two guests at a time when we agreed it would be 4 at a time. She said that I never told her that when I have email proof of her confirming those arrangements. Furthermore, she harassed me days before the appointment threatening me with a cancellation fee when I confirmed via email, text and phone at three separate times!! Long story short - Khadija continued with her nasty attitude and we decided not to continue or support this business. She seemed relieved and offered no customer service, accountability or apology. Typically I’m not one to leave reviews if it’s a bad experience as I thoroughly enjoy supporting small businesses; however I hope this is a wake up call to the owner that this is an experience multiple clients have experienced and nothing is being done to fix it. So again, if you’re planning an event or special occasion at Touch Bar, I do not recommend it as they are inconsiderate, unprofessional and lack accountability with bookings and customer service. You might show up for nothing. Wasted money, time and effort. Zero stars if I could.

This was an amazing experience all around! The ambiance and aesthetic were so beautiful and calming. The receptionist (I didn’t get their name unfortunately) was very welcoming and checked in on everyone in the waiting space and offered water, which was a lovely touch. My lymphatic drainage massage was wonderful! Zack explained everything, and created a safe and comfortable atmosphere - loved it! Will definitely be back!

They did not disappoint! The vibes were immaculate. The moment you walk in you’re transported, the decor is really incredible. Every single item is thought through and goes with the theme, from the alarm clock to the bathroom incense. It is just so so beautiful, such a treat to be inside such a well designed, beautiful space. Now for the massage itself. Andre did a truly excellent job. He listened to exactly what I wanted, and was the perfect balance of gentle but deep enough to release tension. He was an expert, releasing the knots and muscles in a way that relieved so much pain immediately. He was almost like a physiotherapist with his expertise, releasing pressure points in the armpit to relieve pain in the shoulders. I felt so much better, one of the best massages I’ve gotten and I’ve had hundreds all over the world. I definitely had much better mobility and less pain, even the next day had no increased soreness. I will say they are almost double the price compared to my usual place, and even after my generous insurance ($160) I paid around $130 extra for an 80min massage. However I think it was worth it and such a special treat! There was a bit of a hiccup with scheduling that I was disappointed with, where after I scheduled over the phone weeks in advance, they called me the morning of asking me to come earlier. However, they did their best to make up for it and as long as it’s a one time issue, I will stick to giving them the full 5 stars. Overall absolutely wonderful, the only thing that would make it better is having a sauna in the facility however there are many other spas nearby to hop over to afterwards!

I've been following this business for some time now and finally got the chance to visir. Loved my experience here. The environment, decor, and customer service are top tier! It's clean and well maintained. Every detail has been thought about. The only recommendation I'd make is that I would have liked to be able to sit and lounge a bit after my massage before leaving. Having that invitation and dedicated space would be nice. But overall an excellent experience.

The place is beautifully decorated and is very peaceful. It is kept very clean and tidy. The massage experience was amazing too. The therapist was kind and asked me about any problems before the massage and enquired about my experience afterwards. The place also serves coffee and some other drinks. The prices were reasonable compared to the other options in the neighborhood.
