“I cannot say enough good things about Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre. Lady had her first rehabilitation session, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The staff are knowledgeable, patient, compassionate, and professional. They took the time to explain everything, made Lady feel comfortable, and welcomed me to stay throughout the entire session. They also taught me exercises to continue at home, which made me feel like an active part of her recovery. What impressed me most was that they went above and beyond by contacting me the very next day to check on how Lady was doing. That level of care and follow-up shows how dedicated they are to both their patients and their owners. If your dog is struggling with mobility, recovering from an injury, or dealing with pain, I highly recommend Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre. Just like people, dogs can greatly benefit from physical therapy, and this team provides outstanding care every step of the way.”Read moreShow less

“We have been for 2 appointments so far- the initial visit with Dr Sarah, and first therapy session. Dr Sarah is THOROUGH!! She understood our wants and needs for managing comfort in an old dog. Emilia was our first therapy session, and explained everything to us while we went through the sessions. She was calm and loving with our pup. Allie at the front desk (and PB dealer!) was great to work with too! They are trying to help manage with reactivity as well. Highly recommended!”Read moreShow less

“Everyone at Toronto veterinary rehab is wonderful! So caring and passionate about helping our beloved fur babies feel better. Jenna is fantastic to work with. After a timid start for my golden Jenna had her running through her exercises like a champ in no time. Harley will miss doing alligator rolls in the water tank for sure. With 2 TPLO surgeries in less than 7 months I can’t recommend Toronto vet rehab enough for getting your dog back to their normal activities!”Read moreShow less

“I have been bringing my dog, Finley, to TVRC since August of 2025 as part of her recovery of TPLO surgery. I can't express how much the staff are all amazing at what they do and how committed they are to the wellbeing of the animals in their care. Every single person has been welcoming, friendly, and warm. For physio, Finley's main physiotherapist is Jenna. Jenna is so great with my girl and really is tuned in to what Finley needs to feel comfortable. The treatment Finley has gotten has helped her make a full recovery, plus Jenna has spotted some issues to work on so Finley can keep living her best life. Jenna is wonderful with Finley and I highly recommend her. The other RVTs, Christina and Emilia, are amazing, as Finley has had the pleasure of being treated by them when Jenna was unavailable. The team aspect of the clinic shines through with how well Finley continued her treatment with these two. Finley also does chiropractic appointments and Dr. Caitlin is so wonderful at what she does! You can tell she loves her job and is so patient with the pups. She also was able to spot thst Finley most likely has arthritis in her wrists so has helped point out problem spots, which is so helpful in combination with her physio treatment as well. The other staff, including Allie and Lindsay, are such a pleasure to work with. They greet the dogs by name and make the animals feel special to be there. It's all part of a wholly amazing experience at TVRC. I am so glad I brought Finley here for her rehab and recovery from her surgery. I am continuing bringing Finley here because of the great work this team does.”Read moreShow less

“I’m incredibly grateful that I brought my dog to see Dr. Thornton. For two years, he had an on-and-off limp and had noticeably slowed down. I was told he was fine and that it might be the early stages of hip dysplasia, but I didn’t love seeing him struggle (esp after someone commented that he looked like he was nearing the rainbow bridge) and wanted to get a more thorough assessment. Dr. Thornton quickly determined that his pain was actually coming from his front leg, not his hip. From there, he began shockwave therapy and physical rehab with Jenna, and the results have been incredible. His limp is basically gone, his walking endurance is back to where it was before he got hurt, and best of all, he’s just back to being his happy, energetic self 24/7. My only regret is not coming here sooner! But now I know where to go. Thank you to Dr. Thornton, Jenna, and the entire amazing team at Toronto Veterinary Rehabilitation Centre for restoring Ollie's quality of life 😭”Read moreShow less

“It was my dog’s first assessment. All the staff were so friendly. Sarah did a thorough exam and we discussed various steps going forward. I felt confident in her assessment and appreciated the written report as well. I thought Sarah was very knowledgeable and I think my dog will benefit from the proposed treatment. Most importantly, my dog was relaxed and comfortable the entire time,”Read moreShow less

“Very grateful for the expertise and care given by Emelia and team throughout Morty Longbottom’s rehab journey post TPLO surgery for a ruptured ligament in his hind leg. We needed to use a sling to help him stand and hold up his weak hind legs for the first weeks. Through a comprehensive assessment and individualized treatment regimen, he has resumed his normal activity, walks and play. Great facilities and the strengthening exercises and underwater treadmill worked wonders!”Read moreShow less
