I've been experiencing chronic pain on and off since I was a teenager. It always comes back! At 52 years old, I started seeing Kearsten to try and sort out my movement. I wanted to be able to walk for over 20 minutes without having to take painkillers. Well, I've accomplished that, and I can swim without painkillers and have even started weight training! Kearsten is a wealth of knowledge and has changed my life. Can I give TEN stars?!?!

I've been coming to see Kearsten for some help in stabilizing my hypermobile body, and recovering from multiple shoulder dislocations. I could not be more pleased with the experience. Kearsten is kind, sensitive and authentic in how she shares her (extensive) knowledge of anatomy and movement. I appreciate the way she takes interest in my whole health picture rather than isolating one or two "problem areas" when designing a program. I'm always in awe of the connections we make in session. I'd highly recommend her to friends, family and clients!

I had a lingering shoulder injury with a bike event coming up, and scheduled a few virtual sessions with Kearsten to try to reduce the pain. In the virtual sessions, it took her less than 5 minutes to isolated the source of pain and understand the movements behind it. Throughout exercises, she had an unbelievable ability to understand and describe how my shoulder would be feeling. I've joked she has psychic powers, but really it's an incredible understanding of how our bodies move, leading to some really great advice. My shoulder is feeling much better, and I've also learned a better understanding of bike position and effective power transfer through the core.

I had badly broken my leg early in the year.. After months of local physio i wasnt getting very far.. Got in contact with Kearston, she gave me a goal of getting back to work in 6 weeks. I thought she was crazy. After 7-8 weeks im now back to work. She is very down to earth and very friendly and knowledgable.. She is amazing and i highly recommend her!! I cant say enough how thankful i am, and how far ive gotten in my recovery because of Kearston.

I have had hip dysfunction for years. When I came to Kearsten the dysfunction had turned into tailbone and nerve pain which had been made worse by my job as a massage therapist making it difficult for me to do my job. After my first appointment, I left without any nerve pain and after a week of following her prescribed exercises, I am pain free! Kearsten is very knowledgeable and showed great care. Her approach helped me learn how functional movement feels in my body. Highly recommended!

Excellent experience at TMT with Kearsten to support shoulder rehab. Her support and guidance as we worked through exercises to relieve pain and improve movement made such a difference. I even bought my own OOV (pilates tool) to use at home and use it I do! Every.single.day. I highly recommend Kearsten and Toronto Movement Therapy. I drove an hour each way just to see her and it was well worth it!

Wow. Kearsten has fixed me more than once. I'm an avid cyclist and always in various states of injury/imbalance and Kearsten (aka Kiki) has always been able to figure out the cause of the pain and the most effective way to treat it. Hopefully I don't need to see her again but since I know I will inevitably be injured again I'm glad I have someone who I trust to help me out!

I've been working with Kearston for 2 years and she has helped me work through old and new injuries and chronic pain issues. I love how she approaches treatment in a holistic manner and is happy to coordinate with other practitioners to ensure her patients are getting the best treatment from everyone on their wellness teams. She has been a critical part of my recovery and I love working with her.

Kearsten has helped me overcome numerous injuries over many years. I have many complicated issues and her non judgemental supportive approach is fabulous. She both pushes you to be your best and respects your boundaries. Her space is beautiful and restorative. Other amazing TMT staff includes Sam - the world's greatest Massage Therapist. She is a true healer and a gifted therapist.

Kearsten helped me recover from a running injury and I couldn't recommend her enough! Her recommended exercises strengthened parts of my feet that had not been getting enough attention, and made a big difference in my recovery. Her studio is bright, clean and stylish, accessible, and her practise is inclusive and trauma informed. TMT are a one-stop studio offering movement therapy, registered massage and more under one roof. Kearsten and her practitioners know their stuff and are absolutely lovely people who are a pleasure to interact with.
