“I have only had the most amazing experiences at the tooth whisper!!! I am fearful of dental work, and get pretty anxious with everything. Ken and Marica are not only compassionate professionals- but they truly care about your comfort and wellbeing. Both Ken and Marica have gone over and above for me many times, and I am beyond grateful not only to have them as dental professionals but to have such amazing people in my life. Their office is so clean and comfortable, and everyone who works there is extremely warm and welcoming. If you’re like me and have anxiety around dental work, go see Marica at the Tooth Whisper - I guarantee she will make you feel comfortable and does a phenomenal job. She takes a lot of pride and care in her work and it’s pretty easy to see that she’s a pro. Ken is so warm and accommodating - the dream team!!! “I can't recommend Marica enough-she's the most professional and compassionate dental hygienist I've ever met! I've always struggled with extremely sensitive gums and used to avoid the dentist completely. My first appointment with her was tough; I had significant plaque buildup and a lot of anxiety. But Marica was patient, gentle, and incredibly thorough. It took a few visits, but thanks to her care and dedication, I now feel confident going in for regular check-ups. “Traumatic Experience and Lasting Damage to My Gums and Teeth I want to share my deeply upsetting experience with the Tooth Whisperer to prevent others from going through what I did. A few years ago, during a period of depression, a friend recommended her for a teeth cleaning. Given the state I was in, I didn’t have the self-confidence to stand up for myself, and I truly regret it. What was supposed to be a routine cleaning turned into a nightmare. Over the course of an hour, she aggressively scraped at my gums and teeth in a way I’ve never experienced before. I repeatedly asked her to be more gentle and told her it was too painful, but she insisted I could handle it and continued. My mouth was bleeding profusely as she relentlessly worked on my teeth, making the experience excruciating. She repeatedly commented on my “weak, receding gums,” which, logically, should have prompted extra care. Instead, it felt like she was torturing my already vulnerable gums. By the end of the procedure, she told me I needed gum grafting and directed me to a specific doctor for the procedure. The whole situation left me questioning if there was some financial incentive behind her recommendation, as she was very insistent I go to that particular specialist. To make matters worse, I believe she chipped something off my back tooth during the cleaning. After noticing the damage, she seemed to try to cover her tracks by having me look in a mirror at my back molar and claimed the damage was from when I wore braces as a teenager. Unfortunately, this led to a cavity that needed treatment later on. This cleaning not only left me physically damaged but also emotionally and spiritually scarred. My gums have never been the same since, and now I live with the permanent effects of her rough treatment. It was a traumatic experience that has deeply impacted my dental health, and I wish I had never set foot in her office. If you value your dental health, I strongly advise you to think twice before seeking treatment here.
