“If you are experiencing head, neck, or jaw pain, I urge you to book an appointment at TMJ Niagara, immediately - you will not be disappointed! As someone who experienced the excruciating pain associated with TMJD for the first time last year, I cannot stress enough, how grateful I am that my mom found Jeannine! From the New Patient TMJ Initial Assessment through the several Ongoing TMJ Treatments I’ve had since then, Jeannine has been extremely thorough ensuring each and every session is tailored to the symptoms being experienced at that moment, and the reason for those symptoms. Her knowledge of TMJD and ability to share that knowledge in an easy to understand way is impeccable. Learning about the temporomandibular joints and associated muscles has supported my understanding of TMJD and why the treatments and home care instructions are so important. Jeannine explains each step of the treatment along the way, and regularly checks on her patient’s comfort during the process. The treatment space is quiet, calming and clean. The sessions are the perfect blend of checking in on how the TMJD has been (e.g., how the home care instructions are working, any changes that have been noticed since the last session) coupled with targeted treatments (e.g., head, neck, and back massage; intra-oral massage, facial cupping, percussive therapy, Microcurrent Point Stimulation), with the addition of adjustments and additions to home care instructions.
