“A friend of mines mother went in with chest pain and numb arm and dizzy and made to sit in waiting room for all day and was seen and sent home and told to go to family doctor for results of test they ran”

“My father was sent to the ER today by his doctor. His doctor told him to go right up to the nurses and tell them that he is in heart failure and that his doctor called to say he was on the way. The nurse there told him to go sit down and he would have to wait his turn. He told them he was having chest pains and shortness of breath. They sent him to the waiting room. After 30 minutes a nurse came out and called another patient. There was 15 people in the waiting room and he was supposed to wait!!!! Are you kidding me!!! He said to hell with it and went home. What kind of emergency service is that??? I am mortified. He’s currently at home with my 90 year old mother!!!”Read moreShow less

“On June 10th I suffered a fall that left me with two broken arms. I was brought to Tillsonburg hospital by two amazing ambulance drivers. I was assessed by Dr Henney and cared for by Alyssa I believe is her name Will and Steve and I am sure there were others. They were all amazing. I was sent to second floor where I was cared for by an amazing group of nurses Maryann Katie Victoria Kelly both of them Chloe Dean and I am sorry for anyone I forgot but left my list at the hospital. Two Psw Jamie and Alisha you were more than care givers you were my emotional support. I was then moved to the first floor where again I was taken care of not just physically but emotionally and personally by a fantastic group of nurse. April,Alicia Lee. Cyndy Lisa Marlene Asha Deb Henna Chelsey Jackie and Tia my companions on my rides to London Casey Kristina Elizabeth Micheal and Craig. You made a bad situation a bit easier to Judy from the kitchen you are amazing To the cleaning staff who always took a minute to say hi. Thank you all. To the Voyager drivers who were also kind compassionate and went above and beyond thank you. And to my Physio therapist Karen Atkins and the lady I had on second floor which I feel horrible I cannot remember her name but she dried my tears. You have an amazing staff and should be proud. “since when is it ok to leave an elderly patient with a major heart condition with no call bell.....dried blood everywhere.....and with no blankets....this hospital is disgraceful. not to mention the room she was left in still dirty from other patients....the nurses should be ashamed”Read moreShow less
