“I’m really disappointed with my experience. I had to cancel my appointment because I was unexpectedly in the hospital, which was completely out of my control. I contacted the salon as soon as I was able to let them know, but I was still charged a cancellation fee. I understand that businesses have policies, but there should be some level of compassion and flexibility for genuine emergencies—especially medical ones. “I’ve been going to Brandi for just over a year and everytime she nails it! No matter what inspo pictures I show up she has been able to achieve it, making suggestions based on my hair type and what would work best for me. All the girls there are so friendly and welcoming. “I haven’t been to a salon in over 11 years due to a bad experience. I found The Hair Lab through googling and recommendations. I made a consultation appointment (the same day I called.. which was amazing) and spoke with Sarah. Sarah was so attentive, listened to my concerns, gave me some new tips and tricks to try. She then asked if I wanted to cut my hair now as she had time. Throughout the entire process, she talked to me about my hair, gave some more tips, and listened to everything I had to say! Throughout the cut she would tell me what she was doing and the reason for the product. I’m sooo happy with my experience and how my hair turned out. “It was my first time visiting a salon in Orangeville, and I’m so glad I found Jess. She was incredibly patient, took the time to really listen to what I wanted, and made me feel so comfortable the whole appointment. “Sarah was an absolute dream to work with for my hair on my wedding day. A couple of weeks before the wedding, I booked a cut and style with her, and she was amazing — so easy to talk to, great at understanding what I wanted, and she made me feel so fresh and confident heading into the big day. On my wedding morning, she came on-site to do both my hair and my Maid of Honour’s, and she was truly a joy to have around. Kind, professional, flexible, and incredibly skilled. “I saw Jessica Zan for the first time. I was already a client at the Hair Lab so I always expect great results. Jess did an amazing job, heard what I wanted clarified where needed took the time. Re checked to make sure I was happy and she was happy with where we were colour wise. We went over what I expected in the cut and she delivered 👏🏻. I got my blonde dimension back, healthy hair, while supporting my grey grow out and still making me look 🔥. She was very personable to talk to as well.
