“I just had my first Stretch Therapy session with Ry The Stretch Guy and it was excellent! Ryan is a thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional practitioner who stretches the major areas in the body using gentle pressure, pulls and resistance. His instructions and guidance are clear, as you work together to release tension and free up restricted areas. Highly recommend! “I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kevin Jardine to everyone. Three years ago, I got a really bad hip injury while training for a half marathon. I saw TEN doctors before Dr. Jardine that told me I would never run again, and that I should stop sports altogether. Then I met him, and he changed my life. He was the first to look at my body as a whole single entity, and not just my hip where my injury was, something no one before him did. His approach and treatment quickly came as a relief to my pain; he made me believe I can run again. He helped me be kinder to my body and believe in myself. “I've been very fortunate to have been treated by physiotherapist, Emily Russo at The Urban Athlete. Whether it's been an injury to my elbows courtesy of overuse during heavy shovelling last Winter or relieving a long-standing lower back issues. She provides excellent therapy, listening and responding to my concerns. She provides exercises and modifies them as needed. “I've been here a few times on recommendation of a friend and have been pleased with my experience up until yesterday. This has nothing to do with the treatment, but about the automatic charge policy. I had an appointment at 10:30am yesterday and at 9am had to bring my cat to the emergency vet due to something that I was entirely unable to plan for. When she was admitted I called TUA (obviously sounding distressed) to explain the situation and why I would not be able to make the appointment. Without ANY empathy or even saying I'm sorry to hear that, the receptionist who I spoke with simply said "I'll still need to charge you for the appointment - would you like to re-book". I'm in shock that anyone working in the health and wellness field could lack such empathy and that the company itself wouldn't have a policy that allows for exceptions such as this. To say that I'm disappointed in the lack of service yesterday would be an understatement. Do better.”Read moreShow less
