I have had 2 services done at the Social Lounge. I had a gel pedicure and henna eyebrows done. The pedicure looks amazing. Amanda and Brandy were wonderful. Thorough and gentle...i'm very ticklish :) Under Amandas guidance, Brandy did my henna brows. My hair is so fair, you couldn't see my eyebrows. I have never had them done and I was super nervous. They put me at ease and their professionalism shined through. Brandy did such a great job. the colour matches my hair colour and they were shaped beautifully. Big time impressed! Will be a returning client.

Amanda F is the Queen of Eyebrows. 👑 I don’t let anyone else touch mine. Her attention to detail ensures I have perfect brows every time.

I don’t suggest anyone to go there for brow laminate Because she don’t know how to do that She gave me 4 cuts on my forehead near the brow She messed up my brow shape too she wax my right brow and remove my whole brow from the end It was my anniversary next day she ruined it

Absolutely amazing place to get your haircut. Convenient website to get appointments booked, and the stylists are all amazing and enthusiastic. Very professional, I love coming here. Last time I went, they offered to alter my haircut for free if I didn't like it in a week.

Amanda did an amazing job on fixing up my hair, it is so soft and she perfectly blended my highlights (foils) and darkening my hair by two levels. She was very gentle and thorough and was able to do very well on my curly hair!! I would highly reccomend her to others for there hair dying needs! It was a lovely day of pampering! I received a full foil and a coloring! Thank you lovely ladies!!

The staff here are amazing, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and a very welcoming environment! I got my ears pierced by Amanda Schweitzer and she did a fantastic job. They healed up very nicely. I had a great experience and will be coming back for sure!

Went here yesterday as it was recommended to me that this was a trans friendly salon. Booked myself and my girlfriend in for a woman's haircut on the website several days beforehand, got there and let my girlfriend go first, when it was my turn I showed the hair stylist what I was aiming for, a picture of a woman with a wolf cut and also suggested I wanted a similar haircut as my girlfriend She brought me to the chair, and I was surprised that she had skipped washing my hair entirely, and as someone with curly hair that threw me off quite a bit as every salon I've been to has made sure to not skip that step as my hair is complicated to deal with. I went along with the haircut anyways just trying to trust the process, asked for a good amount of length to be taken off as I figured I would try something new and by the end of it I had thought it had gone alright despite not getting what I wanted at all, I had hoped I could make it work When we got home I asked my girlfriend to take a picture of the back of my hair since the stylist neglected to show either of us the back with a mirror when she was done, the back was completely void of any definition, there was no visible attempt at layering or at thinning out my hair to make it easier to deal with, my hair was still riddled with knots, it was still obnoxiously poofy and it's incredibly uneven And then later that night it had occurred to the both of us that I was billed for a guy's haircut, and suddenly it all started to make sense. I was gendered as a guy and I was given a guy's haircut, completely decimating 6 years of growth for a haircut that reminds me of my dad (not a good thing) Some key points, I had expected to have my hair washed, straightened and for an attempt to be made to make it look like the picture I had shown the stylist. I understand my hair is difficult to work with but with the salons I've been to prior this doesn't feel excusable at all. And to later find out that I was deliberately given a guy's haircut despite asking for a woman's haircut isn't just insulting, it's absolutely humiliating and dehumanizing I understand the nuance of trans identities is lost on a lot of people but this has absolutely destroyed my self confidence and I hope to god I can find another hair stylist that can actually take care of my hair in a manner that is respectful to my identity and salvage whatever they can to make this work, at this point I completely regret coming here and I will not be coming back Difficulty of dealing with curly hair aside, this is an absolutely disgusting thing to do to someone who is trans. I shouldn't have to spell it out for anyone when I deliberately booked a woman's haircut for myself and when everything I had talked about hinted towards my identity, including the picture I had shown the stylist Absolutely not impressed, I wish I could get my long hair back, if only I had known my hair would be absolutely ruined by the hands of someone who thought I was a man

Our whole little family comes here for services, we all get haircuts done here. My daughter has had a gel polish done, I get my eyebrows and lashes done frequently and I’ve always left feeling great and pleased with my services. Thank you Amanda and team, we appreciate you all!!

booked an appt to get 12 yr old daughter’s outgrown highlights touched up at roots, instead, they dyed all her hair all blond and left the outgrown roots!! Was mortified and angry, esp when they charged me $200. for their mistake. Owner said they would fix the roots free of charge, yet charged me again for the fix!! Also had a piercing in upper ear, and it was the wrong placement, and had to take piercing out and let it grow over, yet i paid for that too! This company does not admit their mistakes. Will never go back!!
