“The team at the clinic is fantastic! Everyone works together to help support their patients. I often see Rhoda for massage and she is very attentive to my needs. She also does specialty stretches after the massage to help ensure patients needs are met in multiple ways. I also see Dr. Christine Cho and Dr. Alex for Naturopathic needs, who work together to give you the most effective treatment. I also see Dr. Naomi for chiropractic needs and she is very experienced and concentrates on patients needs. Everyone at the clinic is very knowledgeable in their fields and I love that they work together to best support the needs of their patients.”Read moreShow less

“Coming to this clinic was the best decision I have made! With just a few visit I have much improvement. “The Pain & Wellness Center is truly amazing—a different kind of pain clinic. They treat you from all aspects, listening, advising, and making you feel like family. I’ve worked with Dr.Mailis, Dr. Demetry, Dr. Alex, Nada ,Bert , Niko and the front desk, and —all of them form an amazing team that makes me feel at home. They have a unique model for treating chronic pain, and I highly recommend them to others. “I had a great experience at the Pain and Wellness Centre and highly recommend it. Dr. Assimakopoulos has been incredibly helpful, and the clinic has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I started going for TMJ issues, and the improvement in my jaw pain and movement has been amazing. With his guidance and chiropractic care, I progressed much faster than I expected. “I have been visiting the Pain & Wellness Centre for the past 3 to 4 months, and it has truly been a game-changer for me. Whether it’s my back, knees, feet, or neck, Dr. Sutton is extremely knowledgeable and provides effective, targeted therapy. As long as you stay consistent with the prescribed exercises at home, you will definitely start to notice real improvement. The reception staff are also friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, which makes each visit a great experience. “Dr. Demetry has been my go-to practitioner any time I'm struggling to recover from sports injuries. He is well worth the 45 minute drive from my home in Etobicoke to The Pain & Wellness Centre. Most recently, he helped me recover from a neck injury that was affecting both my work and my training. He quickly got to the root of the problem, built a straightforward recovery plan, and got me back training and work. His ability to find real solutions is what sets him apart. When I first came to him, I was dealing with severe chronic pain that had had responded very poorly to treatment from other practitioners. He helped me devise a self treatment plan that has led to nearly a full recovery - something I never thought was possible. His expertise is matched only by his empathy. “I am very blessed to have had the experince of being cared for by the practicioners at The PWC. My issue is very unique and they did the best they could with my situation. Dr Melissa was my rock, she showed me specific exercizes that helped give me back strength in my hands and wrists when they were at a serious decline. Dr Alex showed genuine care and gave me many tips to help with eating and supplements. She did a great job of listening. Dr Karen listened to me and gave me many tips to help with my mental state. It was nice to have someone to talk to openly. Bert helped me with my muscle strain in my neck, shoulders and even massaged my hands which helped so much. I don't think he knows how much he helped. Louisas program was fantastic. I learned a lot of tips to help manage stress. Even the reception team were always very welcoming.
