“While the hospital itself is good, the current parking situation to repairing the parking garage from May to December 2025 without forethought is completely unacceptable and frankly cruel to patients and families, particularly those receiving treatments such as chemo. The parking was already inadequate, requiring lining up at the gates of parking lots waiting for one car to leave before another can come in to park. Now, without putting anything in place to relieve the additional burden, the General Hospital announces we should leave 45 minutes additionally just to park. The burden this places on patients coming for treatments is horrendous, adding to the stress, physical toll, and exhausting time requirements of treatment itself.”Read moreShow less

“I gave birth at Ottawa Hospital Civic campus in November 2024 with Ottawa South midwives. My experience was absolutely amazing. The facility was super clean, birthing room had everything we could possibly need. The anesthesiologist Dr Meera was really good with the epidural she gave me - it worked perfectly. My midwives (Libby, Helen) were super nice, the nurse (Claire) was also very professional and friendly. I totally recommend birthing at this hospital especially with midwives.”Read moreShow less
