Welcome to JawSpine! For new TMJ, Chiropractic or Cold-Laser Therapy patients that have not been to our practice before, please book either the “Initial Chiropractic Consultation” or “Initial TMJ Chiropractic Consultation” or “Initial Laser Consultation” . Please note that a “Reassessment Appointment” is required for returning patients who have not been to our practice in the last 6 months or longer . Notice of Fee Update: Starting January 1st, 2026, there will be a small adjustment to our service fees. This update reflects the increased costs of providing high-quality care, while allowing us to continue offering the time, attention, and treatment options you expect from our clinic. If you already have appointments booked on or after January 1st, 2026, these updated fees will apply. “I let the chiropractor know at my very first visit that I would be going on vacation in a few weeks and would need to miss one appointment, delaying that appointment by approximately 5 days. I was told this would not be a problem and would not affect the course of treatment. They also said that by the time I went on vacation, I should already know whether the treatment was working and would be expected to see improvement before leaving. Throughout treatment, my TMJ actually became significantly worse, but I was repeatedly told this was “expected.” After returning from vacation and delaying one appointment by exactly 5 days, I was then told that my vacation was the main reason for my lack of progress and delayed recovery. This was brought up at every appointment afterward. I was repeatedly asked whether I planned to go on vacation again and was made to feel as though this single scheduling change was responsible for the failure of the treatment. I also pointed out that I should have seen results within the 4–6 week timeline they originally provided. When those results were not achieved, instead of acknowledging that the treatment may not have been working, I was encouraged to increase visits to twice per week — totaling approximately $300 per week. This recommendation came immediately after the clinic conveniently expanded appointment availability to Tuesdays and Wednesdays, in addition to the previous Friday/Saturday schedule, which I felt very questionable given the lack of improvement. Overall, my TMJ worsened throughout treatment, and I felt blamed for not improving despite following the treatment plan as instructed, aside from one delayed appointment that I had disclosed from the beginning. The receptionist staff, however, were always lovely, accommodating, and professional. As a fellow healthcare provider, I would avoid this practice. I have had immediate results with a physiotherapist. Places of business that encourage 5 stars reviews for a chance to win a gift card are buying false positive interactions.”
