“I've had arthritis in my hips for over 30 years. I've been to SEVERAL health care providers including physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists and family doctors with only short-term temporary relief. Unbeknownst to me my hip issues were affecting my lower back and most recently my knee. I started seeing Dr. MEGAN in 2025 and she changed EVERYTHING. Dr. Megan is a Chiropractor but she's never once performed what I call an adjustment. I thought "adjustments", time on a tens machine and a page of exercises to do at home is what chiropractors did. She's different, I call her "the fixer of all things" which is funny because her business name is "The Fix". When the topic of pain comes up in any conversation I have I tell them to "go see Dr. Megan" and everytime they say "but she's a chiropractor". Look past that title and go see her just once. “Just over one year ago, my sister, Ginette Fitzgerald, started feeling seriously nauseous and dizzy. She delayed seeking medical care due to ER wait times. When her symptoms continued, she went to the ER and after a 12 hr wait, was diagnosed with Vertigo and sent home after being told it would go away in a week or so. When her symptoms intensified, she returned to the ER. After an even longer wait, and new symptoms of numbness of her face and tongue, she was again sent back home with the same diagnosis and directed to take Gravol. When her condition worsened, her good friend, Donna Betts, suggested she make an appointment with her Chiropractors, THE FIX. Dr. Bryan Berk, did what the doctors at the hospital did not. After hearing her symptoms, he told her she did not have Vertigo and that she needed to go back to the ER to have a scan done ASAP. She did not want to go back there as she felt it would be yet another waste of time. Dr. Berk insisted she go and said he would call the ER and explain what was needed. When we arrived, we discovered that Dr. Berk did not simply call the ER staff, he drove to the hospital and spoke directly with the staff. We were stunned by such extraordinary service! The scan revealed advanced brain cancer. Ginette died a few months later. Dr. Berk and all the staff at THE FIX go above and beyond to care for their clients.
