“I definitely recommend the pregnancy massage, and I imagine the regular one is just as great. The ambience is perfect, visual, smell, temperature, sound, everything is crafted perfectly to create a relaxing atmosphere. “I recently visited Terra Massage for their facial massage, and it was such a great experience! The technique they used felt quite new and completely different from any facial massage I’ve had before—very effective and skilled. “The staff were friendly and I was happy with the massage itself. However, I'm not sure the overall experience matched the price. Once tax and tip were added, my out of pocket cost was much higher than I expected, even with insurance (though I know coverage varies). It was my first time visiting a more premium spa, so this may just be something to keep in mind if you're considering booking one. Overall, it was a good experience, but, personally, I'm not sure there was anything that made it worth paying around $100 more than a regular RMT clinic, or anything that would make me choose to come back despite the higher price. I might consider trying a different therapist if I come back, but based on this visit, I'm not convinced the higher cost is worth it.”Read moreShow less

“Beautiful space and a genuinely excellent massage. The atmosphere was calm, welcoming, and relaxing, and the therapist was skilled and professional. That said, I booked a Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage specifically, and as someone who regularly gets them at clinics that specialize in this treatment, I don’t feel this was actually a Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage. There was absolutely no noticeable difference in my body when I left compared to when I arrived, which is very unusual for this type of treatment. I wouldn’t recommend this location specifically for Brazilian lymphatic drainage. However, I would absolutely return for a therapeutic massage. In fact, I enjoyed the overall experience enough that I’ve already booked another (therapeutic) massage for two weeks from now.”Read moreShow less

“Such a delightful experience at Terra Spa — truly a hidden gem tucked away on Collier St. in Yorkville. From the moment I arrived, you felt zen! The reception experience was amazing and the conversation flowed so naturally. I was warmly greeted with tea and water which immediately made me feel relaxed and welcomed. I had the 60-minute Terra Facial Therapy service with Tyler, and he guided me through the entire process so professionally and thoughtfully. The pressure of his hands was absolutely perfect, and if at any point it became uncomfortable, I was instructed to simply raise my hand so he could ease up, which made the experience feel even more attentive and personalized. “I truly had one of the best massages (and I have had many) at this hidden gem in Yorkville. It was my first time getting a lymphatic drainage massage and definitely won't be the last at this location. From the moment I booked my appointment, I felt taken care of. The energy is very calm and relaxing and the space is very clean - as well as having very professional and knowledgeable staff. The treatment itself was gentle, relaxing and surprisingly effective. “Romy was my practitioner for my facial massage, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Before even touching my face, she took the time to assess my whole body, tuning into what needed attention. She has this incredible way of understanding how everything is connected, she could tell what my body was holding onto and intuitively worked with it. The massage itself felt magical, deeply relaxing, but also precise in a way that went beyond a regular facial. I felt points of tension release I didn’t even know I was carrying, and by the end, it was like a weight had lifted off me. I’ve never experienced that kind of release before.
