I was surprised that the entire treatment lasted only about 30 minutes. Based on the service description and price, I expected a more comprehensive experience. While my skin felt same afterward, I would have appreciated a clearer explanation of what was included in the treatment and why it was completed so quickly. Overall it is not my first time getting hydra facial which was not signature facial i was charged $200. i would never recommend anyone about this salon. Staff didn’t bother to explain anything. I hope future clients are given clearer expectations about the treatment duration. And at least better experience with what they pay.

What a great spot! The ladies working were all very kind, easy going and friendly. They let us test all kinds of samplers to know which ones are gonna be best for us than our skin. My partners massage was amazing. He was happy and I got some facial work done and I’m very grateful for The experience. Overall, it was a great experience in every way possible and we hope you get to go check it out yourself!

Tea Garden rescheduled my grad hair and makeup three times for times that didn’t work. And provided no flexibility or priority. I ended up doing my own hair and makeup.

I went in for a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Melisa after a straining my neck opening a pack of Longview beef jerky with my teeth like a savage. Melisa made it right as rain. The deep tissue work, especially in my neck, made me see stars. My head is spinning like it’s on a swivel now. Thank you so much!!

Just had a wonderful facial by Naomi McIver.! Very knowledgeable as I wasn’t sure what I wanted. I would highly recommend her and will be coming back. Almost fell asleep it was so relaxing!

It's amazing to have Tea Garden Spa here in Nelson. The place feels welcoming and everyone who works there I've interacted with has been kind and helpful. Melisa is an amazing RMT, some of the best massages I've ever had. I've also tried some other services they offer and have always been happy. Will come back again and again.

Asked at the front desk for walk-in brow shaping to clean up and balance my grown out brows, waxer left me like this. :( Lots of stray hairs, brought the front of one of my brows down too far, shaping looks messy. I’ve received good brow services here in the past, not sure what happened today but I feel embarrassed. Front desk was very understanding as they comped the waxing and offered follow up services if I wanted to come back later in the day such as henna or tinting to “fix” my brows, but I didn’t feel like I could trust that to go very well, and declined.

I had gel nails and I wanted a rebalance, they mentioned they don’t do rebalancing they take it off completely and do full set. Thats the first weird thing I guess because both Calgary and kamloops salons offer that service. A service that’s supposed to take no more than 60 min, takes 2.5 hours, the girl was not a full professional - didn’t take off the gel properly and it hurt me at times and by the end of it she didn’t even put proper gel, i dont think. I think she just put nail polish base coat, color and top coat. It came out super bumpy as a finished result. Tell me why I paid for a service that i didn’t even fully get, and I as a non-professional, am telling the girl how to do her job faster. Not impressed to be honest, and now i have to shell out another 70 bucks in a week to get it redone. Since I cannot respond to your response, here's my response in the edit: Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify that when I initially called to book, I explicitly mentioned that I had gel nails that needed to be rebalanced. The woman on the phone told me — verbatim — that you do not do rebalancing and instead completely remove the product and do a new full set. Based on that conversation, I proceeded with booking the appointment. Because of that, I do not understand how the nail technician was unaware that I had gel nail enhancements that would need to be filed off rather than soaked off. It seems the real miscommunication occurred internally among your staff. There was absolutely full disclosure from my end. Had I known your salon does not offer gel nail enhancement services, I simply would not have booked the appointment. I have been getting my nails done for over 16 years, so I am very familiar with the difference between gel polish and gel enhancements, how the rebalance/removal process works, and the typical timeframe. In my experience, a removal and new set takes approximately 60–90 minutes — not 2.5 hours. The removal alone took about 1.5 hours, followed by another hour for the Bio Sculpture application and colour. You mentioned your estheticians have over two years of experience. Unfortunately, my experience with Taj did not reflect that. The filing was not done properly, the process took an excessive amount of time, cuticle care was uncomfortable and hurt my skin, and the nail shape I requested was not achieved. As I mentioned previously, the finished result was very bumpy and uneven. As a customer, this was genuinely my experience. I feel I was not given full transparency about the services offered, and ultimately I feel that I wasted $94.00 on a service that did not meet professional standards. I appreciate the offer to remove the Bio Sculpture polish at no cost, but my frustration stems from paying for a service that did not meet professional standards or expectations. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to help avoid similar situations for future clients.

I was lucky to get my hair cut by Bijou, whose talent and kindness made for a great experience. Bijou's great taste helped me end up with a style that suits me, and looks and feel fantastic. Highly recommended!
