This TCM school has provided excellent service, so much in the way of expert knowledge and deep sincere care. I do recommend this school especially to those who are curious about Chinese Acupuncture and herbal remedies for their first time. The Doctors are very knowledgeable, resourceful and expert in their field. The students are thorough, well trained and each has their own specialty treatment ability. You can usually get an appointment within the week that you call. Highly recommended!!

I was waiting for my girlfriend to get her treatment so I sat around watching. There is a sink close to the front where I saw their students’ hand hygiene —— ATROCIOUS! Most of them only washed with soap for a few seconds, and usually fingers and some of their palms. One of them with just water. But one man with these dirty giant construction worker like boots whom you thought would have poor hygiene was very thorough. He was washing his hands for at least 20 seconds. Girlfriend found her treatment helpful so they get two stars all together. But I would give zero stars if possible due to their poor hygiene. One wonders what they teach their students about the basics of healthcare.

They don't even how to send confirmation of enrolment for part-time studies detrimentally impacting your ability to receive your student funding. amateur hour. Go to Kwantlen or Pacific Rim seriously to have peace of mind and not to be price gouged. This college is a joke administration wise.

I understand that no school can satisfy every student or attendee completely. However, I sincerely believe that the teachers and staff at Tzu Chi International Traditional Chinese Medicine College are doing their best. In my opinion, this college offers the most comprehensive and well-structured programs in British Columbia, covering everything from Acupuncture to TCM Practitioner and Doctor of TCM. One of the standout features of this institution is its internship opportunity at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital in Taiwan, where students can observe top doctors and nurses providing exceptional care for any kinds of patients. No other school in British Columbia—or even in Canada—offers such an experience. I know times are tough, but honestly, where else can you find a school like this? For those who attended and felt dissatisfied, that’s your loss—I paid the same tuition, and I’m completely happy and satisfied with my education. A huge thank you to all the teachers, staff, and everyone at the college. You’re the best! Tzu Chi International TCM College is truly the top TCM school in B.C.! In a world that’s broken, choose to care, With open hearts and kindness shared. Let go of complaints, embrace the light, See the good, and make things right. Love.

My college for the four-year Traditional Chinese Medicine course, which started in 2000 and I graduated in 2004, was in Vancouver, British Columbia. I was originally a general surgeon. After retirement, surgeons are usually not able to operate for hours in the operating room because surgery is a physical job. I decided to take this four-year course and suddenly I realized that the combination of traditional medicine and Western medicine can increase the success rate of diagnosis and treatment to perhaps 80 percent. Now that 21 years have passed since that time, I have realized how good a job I did to spend my retirement learning and today I have found fourteen treatments for some chronic and difficult-to-treat diseases. Treatments that are not even in medical textbooks anywhere in the world. When I look through the textbooks of medical schools, I read that some diseases have an unknown cause, while now I have found the cause. When I see that orthopedists perform surgery for a treatment that does not require surgery, I am impressed. If I remind them, they get angry. War is a business war. Poor patients. I attended this school. The administration was unhelpful, scheduled classes were changed last minute with no option for zoom attendance. As a working student, this was incredibly hard, and no accomodations were made. I agree with others that the school felt very much like one of those private institutions that are there for the money, not so much interested in providing a great learning environment. Questions were met with hostility. I ended up transferring to another school. I write this so potential future students are aware.

I have generally enjoyed my time at this school. I am very grateful for the instructors, staff, and patients, and think that the various experiences I have had will be helpful for my career and future. However, if you decide to go to this school, be aware that your fellow students may not be cognizant of four facts. 1. If you attend a school, you need to be prepared to study (that means midterms, finals, memorization, etc). You should not be surprised that in finals week, there are a lot of finals to take. 2. Schedules are not made to make your life easy or complement your personal life plans, they are made to fit the needs of many stakeholders other than yourself. 3. If you wish to take a licensing exam, you are in charge of making sure you are qualified to do so, the school (or anybody else) is not your parent and cannot be responsible. 4. Fees are customary for any changes ex post facto in school or business settings. If this upsets you, either do not sign a contract or plan so that you do not need to make changes. If the above items do not cause you distress, I recommend this institution.

I've been getting TCM treatments here for 4+ years and have been treated by some incredible instructors and students. My favourite is the Tuina massage. Only thing to note here is make sure you ask them to count their needles, or ensure they are all taken out at the end of your session. I've had it happen a handful of times that needles were left in me and I don't notice until I'm getting changed and I panic. But otherwise, highly recommend!

I am truly blessed to have such an amazing team of caring Chinese Medicine Practitioners treating me for the past few months. I had stomach acid reflux and heartburn and was searching for a cure once and for all. From the reception, the medical students, the instructor, to the pharmacy, everyone cares about and pays full attention to the patients. I had Alex, Lulu and Jiwoon under the direction of Dr Claire Kao to measure my pulse, ask for my health issues in detail, do the acupuncture, and give me the prescription herbs. The acid reflux and heartburn are not coming back. We have started to treat my chronic back pain and hope to alleviate the pain. I would highly recommend the clinic if you are looking for an alternate treatment to improve your health and well being. Good job, Alex, Lulu and Jiwoon. I wish you all the best in your study next term.
